Bourne Trilogy

Why does istina's quote of my previous post have the author as Loudly, instead of Ludlum? garment instead of guberment? examine instead of ex-marine? Is it something to do with a translator or spell checker on her computer? Just curious.

I'm curious as well. Saw that yesterday and concluded that it must be something to do with spell check or a translator and yet Ludlum was spelt correctly in the response. So not very sure.

No we are not trained in that way, but I don't think people like you and me would have to worry about that kind of attack.
It's only an analogy. The form of attack used against him is particular to the type of person he is, the type of threat he poses. The form of attack used against us can come in the form of viruses, laws, or maybe accidents. That is why we are acquiring the knowledge necessary to strengthen our health, along with learning how the PTB act against us, members of the general public that are discovering and spreading the truth.
In essence we are doing the same thing. We learn the modes of attack, anticipate them and use our knowledge to fight back or avoid them.
that was a joke mocachapeau :) but ofcourse, you make sense

So it WAS a joke! And a good one too. I think you put a smilie at the end but it didn't come out that way on my computer, so I wasn't sure but I was wondering.

I always feel a little sheepish when something like this happens because the response ends up being me explaining the obvious to someone who clearly understands. But at the same time, I don't want to assume it's a joke in case someone really didn't understand.

I thought that it had to do with the forum's own spell check. I always have to pay attention to it when quoting someone. Not sure why Ludlum was spelled correctly on her response, perhaps she noticed it then?

one of my favorite trilogies of all time as well!

something similar happened to me and the Sherlock Holmes movie that came out at the end of 2009, i must have watched that movie a couple of dozen times and still enjoy it very much!

While I was in college, Robert Ludlum became one of my favorite authors. I read the Bourne Trilogy and many others (well over a dozen). While I did enjoy the Bourne movies, I always preferred the novels. They are packed with details that couldn't be included in the movies.

Ludlum obviously researched his novels very well, and I always thought he had some "insider knowledge" about the evil operating within the guberment. Ludlum was an ex-marine, so that may have been what gave him his inspiration.

I was deeply saddened when he died in 2001. He left behind quite a legacy. May he rest in peace.

Oh my...?! I can't understand what has happened in that quote?! I did not changed anything! Sorry for the noise!

Maybe it was really something with spell check because it seems that those words are marked for change in spellcheker but i did not changed it (not deliberately at least). Sorry again!

Bourne identity sounds great. Bought it for 99p off amazon, looking forward to watching it.
For some reason i always avoided it, now i realise why.

Alejo,

I agree with you on Bourne and on Sherlock Holmes the last film (20099) !!! I've seen 3 times, in English without subtitles, hard for me. And on each loop I discover new words/sentences, meaning, details, that I've not noticed before.

I believed in the past viewing a film twice is a waste of time. Now I do belief that there are details that escape the viewer, so training and carefull examination is required to see the unseen. For instance this is meaningful on Kubrick films.

BBC has made a series called "True Stories - The Facts Behind Cinema Legends", where part 4 in the series is about the background of the Jason Bourne character. It has been shown on History Channel:

_http://www.thehistorychannel.co.uk/shows/the-true-story/videos/the-true-story-the-bourne-identity.html

It is describing the background of MKULTRA, interview with a psychiatric patient who was subjected to mind control, and mentions the psychiatrist Gottlieb. It confirms a lot of what we're discussing on the forum about these matters. Interesting and chilling to watch.
