Brace Yourselves For War Between Iran and Israel

Are US foreign policies driven by
Political Ponerology?

Phil Taylor, host of the Taylor Report at CIUT-FM and former US marine, dissect the Hollywood war movie, “American Sniper.”

Taylor deals with a number of key issues: US “exceptionalism” and war crimes in Iraq; the privatization of the US military; Islamophobia; and lies told us by Chris Kyle and the Hollywood movie industry.

Not sure where else to put it: Somebody pointed out to me that Putin said during his visit to Jerusalem in 2012 that he wishes to see the third temple rebuilt. I looked into it and there are indeed several Israeli news websites reporting it, including the Jerusalem Post, but for some reason it was almost impossible to find the actual video of where he said that (in Russian).

I finally found the video on a Russian website (clip starts at 1:21). Putin did indeed say "I wish that your prayers are heard" in response to a rabbi who talked to him about a temple, though it is not clear if he was talking about the rebuilding of the third temple (possibly).

What is interesting is that the Jerusalem Post lied about Putin saying "This is exactly for what I came here, to pray that the Temple will be rebuilt."

It looks like Putin was just showing courtesy and nothing more by saying "I wish that your prayers are heard". In fact, it looks like he ended the conversation when the rabbi started talking about the temple.

Israel is now asking Russia (Netanyahoo through Putin primarily) to convey to Iran that it is seeking peace. Looks like one last feeble attempt at deceiving Iran - and Russia, into thinking that Israel won't soon actually attack. But given the mobilization of arms, re-fueling vessels sent from the US to Israel and the Middle East, etc. no one who understands how Israel operates is buying it of course. Still, Putin made the following statement, even as Russia is now helping arm Iran with several heavy military transport plane deliveries belonging to the Russian Air Force arriving at Hamadan Air Base in the last week or so.

From RT:

“We continue our trust-based contacts with Israel and receive signals from the Israeli leadership asking us to convey to our Iranian friends that Israel, too, is committed to further de-escalation and is not interested in any form of confrontation,” the president said.

Moscow believes that diplomacy is the only way to resolve the issues linked to the Iranian nuclear program, the Russian leader said.

Earlier this week, Putin spoke by phone with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. They discussed a possible settlement to the Gaza war and US President Donald Trump’s peace proposals. The Iranian nuclear program and stabilizing the situation in Syria were also on the agenda, according to the Kremlin.
