So the UK/Starmer show reluctance to get involved in the war, and then one of these drones attacks the British base in Cyprus.
There are reports that that drone was not Iranian:
Now, take into account this speech below of Starmer, thanking the british soldiers at one of the Cyprus bases. Among others he says: "
This base obviously, sort of has multidimensions to it, there's a lot of different work that goes on. I am also aware that some of, or quite a bit of what goes on here, can't necessarily be talked about all the time. Although we are really proud of what you are doing we can't necessarily tell the world of what you are doing here. And therefore it makes it really important to say, Thank you, to aknowledge that. Because, although we are not saying it to the whole world, for reasons that are obvious to YOU, the whole world is relying on you" blah blah blah...
Everybody knows that the brits have been using the pieces of Cyprus they stole post-colonial era to aid the US and israel in all their attacks and wars in the Middle East. But is there more going on?
A Cypriot veteran journalist wrote an article a couple of days ago, posted it on the internet and was immediately deleted. I only have Greek sources talking about it: a
screenshot of the article before it was taken down, and a summary
Journalist Andreas Paraschos writes today in OFFSITE that the British are hosting nuclear weapons in Akrotiri. He also writes that "The British sovereign bases in Akrotiri constitute NATO's largest nuclear weapons base in the Eastern Mediterranean, in the soft underbelly of the Middle East."
He claims that this is why various countries, including England, rushed to "shield" Cyprus.
If Paraschos' information is correct, it is easy to see the implications. The article does not provide details or evidence, but presents it as fact.
Paraschos, the journalist
replied with this,
Offsite took down today’s article of mine about the nuclear weapons at Akrotiri, falsely claiming that they spoke with me and asked me to substantiate what I wrote. I have been in journalism since 1988. I have written hundreds of reports and investigations on the extremely serious issue of the missing persons, as well as on war crimes, and no one has ever refuted me. It is well known that in 2021 I resigned from the editorship of Kathimerini because of revelations I made about the transfer of money to the Seychelles by the former President Nicos Anastasiades. He initially denied the trip to the Seychelles, then admitted that it was not just one trip, and now the relevant report from the Commission on Corruption is pending. Today, many “eager” people on social media are demanding that I prove the existence of nuclear weapons at Akrotiri. It is out of the question for me to reveal my source — that is my basic journalistic right. The ones who must tell us whether nuclear weapons have been installed at Akrotiri are first the British (who will certainly not confirm it) and, of course, our own President of the Republic. Think about why the Americans are advising their citizens to leave Cyprus. Think about why NATO (Greece, France, Germany and Britain) is sending state-of-the-art warships to Cyprus…
It's really hard for anyone to get any information about anything that goes on at the british bases, and it has been this way since the 1960s. But if Paraschos says he has sources, he has sources. He is known to be a serious journalist.
For the life of me I could not understand why everyone was making such a big fuss after a little drone that fell at one of the bases and barely made a dent. In 1974, when Turkey invaded Cyprus, nobody sent any warships. Over half a century of occupation by Turkey and noone ever talks about it in the high places of the EU. So yeah, something else is going on there, and there may well be nukes.
I spoke with my family in Cyprus who are worried that somebody is going to drag them all into this war. They still support Iran, they don't believe Iran is bombing them, and now more than ever they want the british bases closed down. Those are the sentiments of most people on the island, except for the government, who are mostly found with their pants down bending to us-rael.
