Breathing in meditation, yawning

Err what do we do here? Do I moderate you or do you moderate me? Or is self moderation in order? :)
We can leave it as an example of moderator colinearity (in formatory thinking, at least! :D )
I agree with this post.

Could breathing in through the nose help send cool air up to the brain, and then, it feels to me that when we breath out through the mouth, we cut off that "upward" route of air at the back of our throats?

I'm sorry if the explanation of the throat functions is vague but i'm not as up on anatomy as I could be.
Hi Thomas,

I am not an anatomy expert either.

What I have heard about meditation breathing is to inhale and exhale through the nose (though there seems to be a lot of different breathing technics). I don't think this technics relates much too cooling or airing the brain.

If you inhale and exhale through the nose you can keep you mouth shut. And you shut it in the following way : bottom part of the upper front teeth on the upper part of the bottom front teeth while putting the tip of your tongue against the back part of the upper front teeth then the conception vessel and the governing vessel are connected.

Those two vessels are the major meridians and the seven centers are located along those vessels. So this kind of nose breathing could help somehow to "close the circuit".

laughter relieves us of superfluous energy, which, if it remained unused, might become negative, that is, poison. We always have plenty of this poison in us. Laughter is the antidote. But this antidote is necessary only so long as we are unable to use all the energy for useful work. It is said of Christ that he never laughed. And indeed you will find in the Gospels no indication or mention of the fact that at any time Christ laughed. But there are different ways of not laughing. There are people who do not laugh because they are completely immersed in negative emotions, in malice, in fear, in hatred, in suspicion. And there may be others who do not laugh because they cannot have negative emotions. Understand one thing. In the higher centers there can be no laughter, because in higher centers there is no division, and no 'yes' and 'no.'"

Even though the above makes a lot of sense in regards to how there are many ways of not laughing, didn't the C's make a mention of laughing often in 6th density, just that laughter to them is much different than we understand it? Therefore, as long as you aren't laughing AT someone but rather with someone or finding something humourous in nature it would, for the most part, be a positive emotion rather than a mix of positive and negative?
