People in Lower Mainland getting used to wild weather
Brief hailstorm hits parts of Vancouver

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - As people brace for the latest November storm expected to roll through this afternoon and tonight, parts of Metro Vancouver got hit with a freak hailstorm this morning which briefly turned some streets to ice. But people we spoke with on the streets of Vancouver this morning say they're getting used to wild weather.
Complaining about the weather isn't new for Vancouverites. Some of us are naturally hardier than others, and while warnings of more extreme weather coming roll off some people like water off a duck's back, many people have already grown weary of the unpredictability of our recent weather. "What I find so frustrating is that it's so unpredictable...you go out and you think it's going to rain and it's not--then it starts to rain."
Others say it's not so bad, and they'd rather deal with the rain, than snow. One woman says "When you live in Vancouver, you should expect it (the rain)."
Some climatologists have predicted more future weather extremes in South Coastal B.C. due to global warming.
