Since that date, Mr. Jean-Michel Trogneux has presented himself as “Brigitte Trogneux, épouse Macron” and soon, since 2017, as the wife of the President of the French Republic, which formally constitutes usurpation of functions punishable by law. He claims to live at the Palais de l'Élysée, 55 rue du faubourg Saint-Honoré, 75008 PARIS.

In June and September 2024, Jean-Michel Trogneux represented himself before the 17th Correctional Chamber of the Paris Judicial Court under the double identity of Jean-Michel Trogneux and Brigitte Macron, in order to obtain damages from the defendants he had sued for defamation. If Faits&Documents are right, it really is J-Michel's little sister, named Brigitte. And Brigitte Macron's "She is with me, every day of my life" quote makes more (creepy) sense, because technically "she" is telling the truth, if "she" is impersonating "her" deceased younger sister. Yikes.

I just finished watching the video, and all I can say is that in their letter (read: legal threat) to Candace, les messieurs Macrons did little if anything to disprove her claims that "Brigitte" is a male. In fact, the wording of the letter is highly suggestive that it might be the case, "but how dare you look into this, it is not your business".

Candace replies with, "I am pregnant, I dare you to continue threatening me, you just made me more willing to expose your lies". She promises to release a great exposé in 2 weeks, and alleges that the timing of the legal threat might be related to what she has been researching and planning to release, along with who she has been in contact with, linked to that.

I think that the journalists in France working on this subject need to get in contact with Candace asap.

This is about as inadvertently close to a confession as I think it's possible to get as they screwed up in just about every way imaginable.

They reached out to her. If there was ever a time to put their best case forward to not only put the conspiracy to bed but to regain some semblance of credibility in the eyes of Americans, this was it. This was their shot.

Instead, they try to bully and pressure her into dropping the story using the flimsiest of excuses that are obviously side-stepping the issue and when they do address the accusations the proof they provide of Jean-Michel Trogneux's existence is an 8 year old YouTube video of Macron's inauguration where they claimed someone in the back was JMT. A person that has already been identified as someone other than JMT.

This letter was such a horrible decision start to finish that it boggles the mind anyone thought this was a good idea.

I can't wait to see what Candace has in store and, possibly more interestingly, how the Macaronis are going to respond.

I couldn't agree more. If they were advised to do this via their legal team, they need to change lawyers asap. Candace is a very articulate and bright lady and she is not going to let this one go. I don't know who their lawyers or advising team are, but they couldn't have come up with a worse strategy than the one applied. Candace's mockery of it all is well deserved.

Indeed! Although as to the wording of it, and the arguments in the letter, it all sounds very similar to what they did when they sued Natacha Rey (some arguments almost word by word, like the image of "JM Trognaux" at Macron's inauguration). Maybe that's the best they can do, given that they have nothing to prove that BM is not a man! But in France, they have the media to back them up. They can win a court case on a small technicality, and then tell everyone that Brigitte prevailed. In the US they may not have it that easy...
