It was drug related, but strange all the same. I don't remember how i came across this article, but the original is in Spanish (_http://www.ideal.es/sociedad/201407/04/turista-detenido-droga-canibal-20140704114641.html) and there is a video which shows a guy screaming which might be the attacker as they say he was sedated and taken away in a stretcher, quite disturbing. And their appear to have been a few of those incidents recently - though i haven't read anything - but it's mentioned in the article.

This was the best report of it i could find, doing a quick scan. Sadly they lose their focus a bit reporting on another more 'titilating' tale which was in the news recently.

A British holidaymaker suspected of taking a drug dubbed Cannibal had to be restrained by nearly a dozen police officers after he started BITING tourists on a Magaluf beach.

Spanish cops were called to a beach in the party resort after the drugged-up Brit was spotted by a lifeguard chasing people and biting them.

Authorities suspect he may have taken an experimental drug dubbed Cannibal which is similar to one linked to a gruesome attack on a homeless Miami man.

It comes just a day after a shocking video emerged of a teenage girl performed sex acts on more than 20 men in a nightclub in the popular resort.

Police in Magaluf had to call for reinforcements after arriving to calm the 28-year-old man down and being attacked themselves.

Ten officers eventually managed to restrain him. A doctor had to sedate him after he was tied to a stretcher before he could be taken away.

He reportedly confessed afterwards he had taken a cocktail of different drugs.

The drug dubbed 'Cannibal' is also being linked to an incident in the early hours of Wednesday morning in Magaluf when a 17-year-old English girl had to be brought under control and taken to hospital by a five-strong medical response team after biting other revellers.

Friends claimed afterwards she had only had two drinks and taken no drugs and officers were probing whether her drinks had been spiked.

The incident happened in Punta Ballena near to the bar where an 18-year-old British girl was filmed performing sex acts on 23 men.

She is said to have agreed to the sordid stunt - which has made headlines around the world - in return for a free holiday, only to be told afterwards it was the name of a cocktail.

Detectives said last week they believed dealers in San Antonio on neighbouring Ibiza were peddling the mysterious mind-bending narcotic to young holidaymakers.

Officers trying to clear the streets of the mystery drug, blamed for a recent attack in which a British tourist had to be handcuffed after biting a policeman, have branded it ‘Cannibal.’

It is thought to be similar to bath salts, which contain a powerful stimulant called MDPV.

They were blamed for the horrific attack by Rudy Eugene on homeless Ronald Poppo, 65, in Miami in June 2012, although subsequent tests only showed up traces of marihuana.

They are talking about this drug here in Spain. Say that it is in the Baleares that this drug is now. They are talking also of other new drugs that are coming, very strong and very dangerous but the worst of all is Cannibal.

Some years ago a Spanish director did an horror movie about people who had the same symptoms then that of the Cannibal drug. Maybe it was a futuristic movie? The title, for amateurs of horror movies,is REC. All the time reality surpass fiction, yes indeed.

If I remember correctly, in Comets and the Horns of Moses Laura spoke about previous instances in history where people supposedly turned cannibalistic, and this linked in with comets coming into the atmosphere? I cannot remember exactly what the process was that caused this and I don't recall where it is located in the book. But my thoughts are that perhaps more and more of these cases are being reported and the PTB are doing damage control - claiming it is due to 'bath salts' and other such drugs, when actually it is the affect of all of the overhead comet activity we have been experienced - and some people are more susceptible than others?
