The Living Force

And if this is mainstream technology, just imagine what kinds of things they have already been doing in secret for years. Also this is creepy and sickening. I'm not opposed to swatting mosquitoes and other pests to protect yourself, but wiring something for total mind and body control is basically torturing an insect for your own psychopathic purposes.

I've also read an article recently where scientists were able to integrate some living microorganisms into a microchip - or something along those lines. I think that is also an incredible violation and torture of life, I really can't imagine myself using a technology that uses living things to make it work, it's just disturbing and I can't believe things like that are even permitted and considered "science". On the other hand, with what is done to human beings every day on this planet, this kind of thing is to be expected.

Jeez - I didn't think I'd ever feel sorry for a beetle. This is just depravity. They're installed in the pupal stage, so the beetle goes through it's whole life wondering why it can't control it's own flight pattern - or, perhaps like us humans - the beetle thinks it is controlling its flight patterns and behavior, when, in reality, it is being controlled!

I agree, this is very disturbing. The youtube video is really strange. Looks like it is flying while suspended on a string.

I agree with the view of this as depraved and torture for the poor insects.

"DARPA's ultimate aim is to create cyborg insects that can fly more than 300ft to their target and then stay put until commanded to buzz off again."[/quote]

DARPA's ultimate aim? My imagination suggests that this is nowhere near 'the ultimate aim.' This 'aim', when met, is likely just the very beginning.

Reminds me of the scene in The Fifth Element when the President has his conversations listened to from an electronic beetle with a camera/microphone installed. Science fiction comes to life.

In the Star Wars franchise, the book ' The Truce at Bakura' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Truce_at_Bakura) the invading species use human souls to 'power' their technology and equipment.

...the Rebel Alliance forces ally with the remnants of the Imperial garrison to repel an invasion by the reptilian Ssi-Ruuk race under the Ssi-ruuvi Imperium, which seeks to establish a beachhead in the larger galaxy. The Ssi-Ruuk seek to harvest a supply of life forms, whose life energies power their advanced technology through a process known as entechment...

The reference to 'reptilian' and the idea of a human 'soul-in-a-box' made this the creepiest book in the star Wars franchise IMHO...

A paralell to the story I read from Alex Collier's writings: (I know the forum has issus with Val, but I've enjoyed most of what Alex Collier has written and said, it was information he spoke of that led me to this site)

I was told about a situation which occurred about two or three years ago. I was given information that a 21 mile long craft was seen leaving the equator from under the ocean.

The Tau Cetians, the Pleiadians and a group from Zeta Reticuli I, who were not Service to Self, formed a triangular position to block this craft which was trying to get off Earth and evade the quarantine the Andromedan Council is trying to establish relative to alien races visiting the Earth.

Anyway, they captured the craft, which belonged to the Dows (large white-skinned Greys). They were able to board the craft and they found 8,700 hybrid children.

Val: Human hybrid children. Grey-human hybrids?

AC: Yes.

Val: They were trying to get the hybrids off the planet even though the whole hybrid program is a lost cause?
Captured Human Souls

AC: Well, there's more. They also found more than 1,000 human children that had been placed in cryogenic stasis, and over 1,000,000 of these little boxes that contained the life forces of souls from Earth.

Val: Captured human souls.

AC: Souls.

Val: And what do they do with these souls?

AC: They feed off the energy radiated by the souls. What they are doing, Val, is that they are taking the life force and they are somehow siphoning it off a little at a time and feeding it to the hybrids in order to keep them alive, trying to keep them alive and create a soul in them.

Val: Meanwhile, what happens to the soul in the box?

AC: Morenae did not want to answer that question. The 1,000 human children that were taken off the craft were then transported to the Pleiadian system. The decision was apparently made that they could not come back to Earth after this experience with the Greys. I do not know what happened to the souls that were in those boxes.

Val: They would presumably have a way to release them, I would think.

AC: I would think so. I can remember Morenae saying that the Andromedans did not know that the Greys could do this and had this kind of technology.

Val: Now that they know about it, what now?

AC: I don't know. There is a lot they don't tell me.

Hi Snodog - it's not that 'this forum has issues' with Collier - it is that there are objective issues with the information presented by Collier. Can you see the difference?
