Here another "UFO" or the same (I don´t know), but I think those are just planes or drones.Arwenn said:Thanks for posting the video- very interesting images of the volcano with the electrical activity, and the possible UFO sighting. I hope all the nearby towns have been evacuated and residents are safe. Something's going on for sure-the world leaders have gone/always were mad/madder still, and the weather is doing the same. More to come, I'm sure :/

Of course, the victims do not find it as funny.Alaraco Juan Fernandez, president of the Chilen Catastrophes College, explained: "Catastrophes found in Chile a good place for vacation, which is why they arrive in mass to visit our beaches, hills, mountains and glaciers. We have already surveyed over a thousand of natural disasters throughout the world and 90% agree that Chile is their favorite place and they love it above all things."

+wake-up-asap the lightning is caused by ash particles rubbing together causing static in the eruption column, ash from volcanoes isn't like like your typical bbq ash,it's very abrasive and contains substances such a silca glass and metals and other minerals from deep within the earth.
Looks like the noise in the video comes from the camera. The lightening whistle in the article is radio (electromagnetic) signal.mabar said:Question: Does the sound on the video could be volcanic whistilng lighting? that talks about here?: http://www.sott.net/article/282775-Cosmic-music-Whistling-volcanic-lightning-heard-halfway-around-the-world
That's one hypothesis, but nobody has a definitive explanation or model for the electric activity during volcanic eruptions. For instance, this hypothesis ignores the Earth electrical circuit and considers the phenomenon locally, i.e. an electrical discharge inside the ash plume in isolation of the difference of potential between the ground and the upper atmosphere.mabar said:_https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eXxjEnTM7Cw said:James Edwards Hace 3 horas.

I read an article written by a Dutch citizen in Chile, claiming that such disasters aren't taken very seriously, and that funds seem to be lacking when it comes to increasing 'survival' of natural disasters and rebuilding after such events. However, she wrote that the government has decided to spend much more now, albeit to her, it's kind of late now. Either way, I hope that Chileans will keep safe during these times.
Added: IronFloyd, just noticed you're from Chile, are you and your relatives safe, do you live in a more/less unaffected area in Chile?
Yes, it figured to me, but for one instant I doubt it because, I rememebered that kind of sound coming from a tape recorder, and nowadays those are not in used? or are too old, of course, I am most ignorant in such professional/amateur jobs.mkrnhr said:Looks like the noise in the video comes from the camera.
