Can't log on to comment in news section.

I wonder if someone could help me log on to post comments on the news section I don't even get a new password when I enter my information. I haven't commented in a while so maybe that's it?

Even so, I've had this happen happen repeatedly over several years. Thanks in advance for your help.

I tried to make a comment on this article http://www.sott.net/article/272373-Heart-transplant-patient-falls-in-love-at-first-sight-with-sister-of-the-man-whose-heart-now-beats-in-his-body

but when I log in on Sott, which takes me back to the main Sott page, and then go to this article page it shows that I'm not logged in. Not sure if it is a bug or something.

Edit added: Never mind. Went back and tried it again and now it works!

I've just given up trying to log on to the comment section of the news articles. For some reason, my information is not remembered. The last time I tried logging on, the message came up that informed me that the screen name I've used since 2007 is already taken.

Even If I submit the new password sent to my email address, I still can't get through to the comment section.

There's a short discussion about similar problems here especially the later part of it.

Nowadays, when you log in on SotT you're automatically redirected to the home page. When you go to the article you want to comment on, your browser cache usually provides the non logged in page you previously have read. Clearing the cache will allow you to see the article while logged in and you will find the comment box underneath the article or underneath the latest comment -- whichever applies.

So, clearing your browser cache first is a vital part of being able to comment.
