If you go to the 'Home' button at the top of the page, scroll all the way down, look at the bottom left of the screen and it will show you Guests and Members that are currently on the site. There are other more detailed statistics available as well.

I believe that was when the new and improved forum was launched (but I could be wrong and if so, someone will set me straight). :)

Yup, that's when the forum re-opened after being down for some time for re-organizing and maintenance.
