Cassiopaean Session Transcripts Search Website

Thank you so much this is absolutely wonderful and much needed ! I’ve been having difficulty with trying to search the transcripts via the forum search feature for awhile . Stumbled upon this post and was blown away ! Thank you again

Hi Pecha! It seem that bundled Ubuntu font doesn't contain Cyrillic symbols. Google has it with broader character support Ubuntu - Google Fonts

I updated the Ubuntu font, the Russian version should look much better now!

Hi Pecha, may I suggest you another add for the next update? The French section lacks the 2026 sessions...
Thanks for the site, very useful for translation purposes! 😊

The new French sessions have been added along with other recently translated sessions. I've updated the PDFs too to include these

Thank you @Pecha! And I have another suggestion 😇

You probably know that search function for Russian sessions lacks stemming support. It only searches literal matches, and it makes searching much less useful than it's for English sessions.

I remember you wrote that English stemming is provided by some third party library. We can surely create a similar library for Russian language with AI coding tools. I think plugging in this library for Russian section shouldn't be a problem since the search is already scoped for different languages. What would you say? I can help with tech stuff if you need it.

At some point, I had to remove the stemming library due to some change in how the database search worked on the backend a while back. Unfortunately literal matches is the only way to search across all languages for now. Though I'd like to revisit this at some point. I'm going to check first if there's any movement in the localization space for headless Wagtail in this area.

I will say AI coding tools have been incredibly fruitful. It let me get out the PDF generation thing in less than a week! Will consider this and reach out to you at some point Aimarok.
