Australia has had a change of leaders.
Tony Abbott has been replaced as Prime Minister by Malcolm Turnbull, in a Liberal Party vote.
It remains to be seen how effective this 29th Prime Ministership will be.
As far as I read Turnbull sounds more liberal, but I must admit that I'm not holding my breath, since the saying goes: Meet The New Boss, Same As The Old Boss. But as you wrote, lets wait and see and what he really does in the end.
Not to down-play Australia's position but the U.S. is desperately in need of a change in Leadership? I've noticed this "habit" our President mindlessly displays, in at least two news clips, in the past and I just came upon a back dated article that has photo's of this same trait.

Obama Exhibits Profound Disrespect for Office of the President
Canada just had a change of leadership as well, however like it was mentioned, there isn't that much that actually changes, however many of us are shocked!!

Absolutely.. Only time will tell, there is a chance that his pulling out the planes could have an ulterior motive as well. Lets hope its a positive not negative.
