Channel disruption and a dream message

A Disturbance in the Force
Hi, this is my first post. Please go easy on me. I have a question about channeling and overcoming blockages or interference.

I've been using a muscle testing technique as my channeling medium for a little over five years now. The accuracy has improved a lot since reading Amazing Grace and some of The Wave. Before, I only knew to ask for advice from my "Higher Self" or from "Beings of Divine Light." Recently I began to confirm the identities of the entities I'm communicating with as 4D, 5D, or 6D; STS, STO, or STO-candidate. I was still getting interference and disinformation, but I was less confused by it when adding questions to confirm the source of information.

About two weeks ago my channel got nearly completely throttled. I can only ask one question, and then I get nothing. No interference, no answers at all. I asked for some advice from my dreams. The dream that transpired was in a familiar dream location, and I decided to visit the garden to the West of that dream place's lookout tower. When I returned to my "base", so to speak, in that dream place, someone asked where I had found the flowers, and I answer. Then the dream changed, and I'm in an alley smoking with someone who resembles Laura. She says she is surprised "they" allow me to walk around here. I naively use my one question to confirm the "they" I think she means is the one she means. Not-Laura points to a brown paper parcel leaning against the curb. It rustles, not in the wind, but like it is sentient. I ask another question, but it's clear the communication is over and I wake up.

I think the brown paper parcel is an alien object and I need to learn something about it, "unwrap" it, to be able to restore communications. I would really appreciate any insight or suggestions you all have.

I would think twice before being sure of the above. If you don't have a healthy sense of skepticism, you're vulnerable to self-deception, which is the default mode in this reality. This is why you always need a network. The forces at play are beyond each single individual to surmount alone. Never forget that.

Perhaps your interpretation of "your channel getting nearly completely throttled" is just a result of your higher self not cooperating with something that is not being good for you.

When you rely on divination tools too much at the expense of gaining knowledge and being, you can expect the tool to deteriorate as part of a disintegration of an unbalanced process in your life. I would redirect energies towards gaining knowledge and being that would help you reintegrate on a more solid ground.

Can you tell me more about this, please? What is one to do if there is no one around?
Network, ask others like you just did. I second Gaby's concerns. Channeling is generally dangerous if you don't have sufficient knowledge and awareness about it. Opening a channel is like opening a window, you never know what you may invite inside of your house and it is better not to make assumptions about who you are communicating with les you wanna get in troubles and get deceived. Laura wrote many times about the dangers of channeling.

You network because you get to understand that you have blind spots that you can't see yourself. For that, you need a mirror, symbolically speaking. Just the fact of interacting with other people whose aim is objectivity, even if it's only online, you fine tune your reading instrument with that aim in your mind.

Due to the nature of this reality, we need someone to check on us. Modern psychology would say that we're "Stranger to Ourselves". It requires practically no real conscious awareness to be functional in this world, which is kind of scary.

I don't think it's a bad idea to do muscle testing and the like. I would just pay attention to the fact that is failing for you as of late and refocus your energies elsewhere. It reminds me of the principles of Reiki, when you do it with an intent of healing others, it would surely do good. We don't recommend doing Reiki to oneself, though. You receive Reiki from others, though, in case you need it. Service to self, service to others. The intent behind that can be the little difference that makes the whole difference.

The forces at play are beyond each single individual to surmount alone. Never forget that.

The vocabulary varies and some people resonate with certain concepts more than others. For me, it was the esoteric material that brought it home. For instance, this classical quote from Gurdjieff:

"In reality Kundalini is the power of imagination, the power of fantasy, which takes the place of a real function. When a man dreams instead of acting, when his dreams take the place of reality, when a man imagines himself to be an eagle, a lion, or a magician, it is the force of Kundalini acting in him. Kundalini can act in all centers and with its help all the centers can be satisfied with the imaginary instead of the real. A sheep which considers itself a lion or a magician lives under the power of Kundalini.

"Kundalini is a force put into men in order to keep them in their present state. If men could really see their true position and could understand all the horror of it, they would be unable to remain where they are even for one second. They would begin to seek a way out and they would quickly find it, because there is a way out; but men fail to see it simply because they are hypnotized. Kundalini is the force that keeps them in a hypnotic state. 'To awaken' for man means to be 'dehypnotized.' In this lies the chief difficulty and in this also lies the guarantee of its possibility, for there is no organic reason for sleep and man can awaken.

"Theoretically he can, but practically it is almost impossible because as soon as a man awakens for a moment and opens his eyes, all the forces that caused him to fall asleep begin to act upon him with tenfold energy and he immediately falls asleep again, very often dreaming that he is awake or is awakening.

"There are certain states in ordinary sleep in which a man wants to awaken but cannot. He tells himself that he is awake but, in reality, he continues to sleep—and this can happen several times before he finally awakes. But in ordinary sleep, once he is awake, he is in a different state; in hypnotic sleep the case is otherwise; there are no objective characteristics, at any rate not at the beginning of awakening; a man cannot pinch himself in order to make sure that he is not asleep. And if, which God forbid, a man has heard anything about objective characteristics, Kundalini at once transforms it all into imagination and dreams.

The tale of the "Evil Magician" can be an analogy for 4D STS here:

"There is an Eastern tale which speaks about a very rich magician who had a great many sheep. But at the same time this magician was very mean. He did not want to hire shepherds, nor did he want to erect a fence about the pasture where his sheep were grazing. The sheep consequently often wandered into the forest, fell into ravines, and so on, and above all they ran away, for they knew that the magician wanted their flesh and skins and this they did not like.

"At last the magician found a remedy. He hypnotized his sheep and suggested to them first of all that they were immortal and that no harm was being done to them when they were skinned, that, on the contrary, it would be very good for them and even pleasant; secondly he suggested that the magician was a good master who loved his flock so much that he was ready to do anything in the world for them; and in the third place he suggested to them that if anything at all were going to happen to them it was not going to happen just then, at any rate not that day, and therefore they had no need to think about it. Further the magician suggested to his sheep that they were not sheep at all; to some of them he suggested that they were lions, to others that they were eagles, to others that they were men, and to others that they were magicians.

"And after this all his cares and worries about the sheep came to an end. They never ran away again but quietly awaited the time when the magician would require their flesh and skins.

"This tale is a very good illustration of man's position.

I think when you're dealing with channeling sources, one can never be to careful. Having your feet on the ground requires knowledge of this reality, and also navigating it with a good track record.
