Charlie Kirk is dead... A sad day in history

One possibility I see is Israel framing "The Left", where most of the opposition to Israel's genocidal actions has been coming from.

A side goal may be to demonstrate what can happen if you are a public figure and stop "supporting" Israel. Since Charlie Kirk was a close associate of Trump, this message may well be primarily for him.

Another possibility that I think is less likely is that it was done by another faction that is interested in more violence and instability in the US, maybe as a pretext for tightening the control over the population with the digital prison projects.

Globalists (the oligarchy that controls "The Left") and technocrats both seem to have this goal, though their approaches differ somewhat.

I don't think it's so simple. Israel has little to fear from leftist activists, but more from the right turning on them, which would (already has, really) unite everybody against them. Creating tension between the two camps might work in their favor though.

As for Trump et al., I think what they are gunning for are leftist NGOs, media etc. that promote wokeness, hatred against conservatives, pro-immigration, pro crime stuff and so on, and if so, good riddance. The problem however is that, assuming for a moment we are dealing with a "program change" here, they will ultimately do the hyper-overlords' bidding one way or the other, at least in the long run. This is the terror of history: even those who try doing sonething useful will become entangled in "invisible schemes". And as we know, with Trump they often don't even need to try very hard.
 
Here's a video by the guy who claims friends of Kirk said he was afraid Israel might kill him. Also captures the mood on the right pretty well. It's interesting how he pivots from "Israel did it" to attacking the left. Like, they somehow feel they can't do anything about Israel anyway, so they focus on the domestic situation and the political context at home.

Had the same thought, although not sure it's the main reason. Probably a combination: send a message to mainstream MAGA and the Trump admin, stir the pot, distract from the 9/11 stuff, and all that possibly in the context of a larger "program change" as to the future of the US/West...

The author of the article paid for 3 Hexes from "witches" on Etsy, not with the aim of causing harm, but with the aim of having everyone hate him and him have a bad day. Their gripe with him?
He tells auditoriums full of young women that our freedom is a flaw, not an achievement. He’s obsessed with declining birth rates and idealizes the 1950s, when women’s only “job” was tending to children and husbands.

Having traditional values, which actually sound quite nice?
The Hexes were placed around August 23rd with a 2-3 week turnaround.
I'm not saying that these Hexes were what caused him to get shot, it's looking like it was what other commenters have posted about Israel, but I thought it was interesting that they mentioned stopping him from talking and the shot going into his neck.
Before this happened, I didn't know who Charlie Kirk was, so thank you to the commenters who provided a concise background about him that was easy to understand and helped explain the situation.

Judging by the amount of blood he lost in the first few seconds of that damage to the carotid/jugular, for him to get to hospital with a pulse there must have been someone unbelievably quick and skilled to give him first aid.

At the moment, most posts I'm seeing on X from people with large followers point to this being an Israeli operation, so if the intention was to create division between the left and the right, maybe it's not having the intended effect? Then again my feed may be biased towards people having such views.

But it sure sent a clear message to the Trump administration as to what can happen if anyone speaks out against Israel and that even if they missed once (in Butler, PA) they might not miss a second time.

No, they're going to blame it on the wrong people though, and get the Public to attack each other. A bit a truth would be refreshing right now.

I'm wondering if this is an overt threat to get influencers to shut up?
