Charlie Kirk is dead... A sad day in history

That one video of Charlie speaking just feels so "tv evangelist". I may be biased but, being a PK (pastor's kid, Lutheran) and used to a formal style, I've had some exposures to evangelists in the 1990's and early 2000's, and listening to Charlie speak brought back all those feelings and it just feels so icky to me. I don't like that smooth, slick, confidant, Toastmasters style of witnessing and that forever repetition of the gospels the gospels the gospels.

Anyway, the topic of the Unification Church has come up several times with Sun Myung Moon and his followers the "Moonies". So I watched a few video's on YT last night.

In the video, it's mentioned of the possibility of Moon being 'reprogrammed' in North Korea. I don't know if it's true or not but that story apparently plays later in his life being accused of being a Manchurian Candidate type for North Korea. Now, Moon officiated many mass weddings, known as the Holy Marriage Blessing Ceremony of the Unification Church. For instance:

In 2009, a blessing ceremony for 7,000 couples was attended by the Vice Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea and by the daughter of the late President Park Chung Hee. She said: "I join in a trans-religious spirit. I like the Unification Church way of interpreting the Bible, incorporating the Quran and Buddhist scripts".

Some of the ex-Moonies in the video tell stories of how they got married. Moon would point a finger and basically say 'you will marry him/her' and then he would marry them, in some cases to complete disaster later. These were arranged marriages. When I saw this, I had a thought. I think the term 'honeypot' has been used in reference to Erika, so I wondered if Charlie's marriage to Erika was actually arranged, but made to look natural?

Something else, on the United States v. Sun Myung Moon wiki, when Moon was convicted of income tax fraud and conspiracy in 1984, I saw this:

While Moon was in prison, members of the Unification Church of the United States launched a public-relations campaign. Booklets, letters and videotapes were mailed to approximately 300,000 Christian leaders in the United States. Many signed petitions protesting the government's case. Among the American Christian leaders who spoke out in defense of Moon were conservative Jerry Falwell, head of Moral Majority, and liberal Joseph Lowery, head of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. Among the other people who protested the government's prosecution of Moon were Harvey Cox, a Professor of Divinity at Harvard and Eugene McCarthy, United States Senator and former Democratic Party presidential candidate.

Two quotes from posts mentioning Jerry Falwell.
She started the episode with a rather innocent question. When did Charlie's mission changed to 'Faith based'?
  • It started when Charlie joined forces with Jerry Falwell Jr. to create 'Falkirk Center for Faith and Liberty'.
Trump previously spoke at Liberty University on two occasions, in 2012 and 2016. Trump is also reportedly a close friend of the president of the university, Jerry Falwell, Jr.

Here's the beginning of a longer article.
Dark Side of Rev. Moon: Buying the Right Dark side of Jerry Falwell: Being bought off! (1997)

On Jan. 28, 1995
, a beaming Rev. Jerry Falwell told his Old Time Gospel Hour congregation news that seemed heaven sent. The televangelist hailed two Virginia businessmen as financial saviors of debt-ridden Liberty University, the fundamentalist Christian school that Falwell had made the crown jewel of his Religious Right empire.

"They had to borrow money, hock their houses, hock everything," enthused Falwell. "Thank God for friends like Dan Reber and Jimmy Thomas." Falwell's congregation rose as one to applaud. The star of the moment was Daniel Reber, who was standing behind Falwell. Thomas was not present.

Reber and Thomas earned Falwell's public gratitude by excusing the Lynchburg, Va., school of about one-half of its $73 million debt. In the late 1980s, that flood of red ink had forced Falwell to abandon his Moral Majority political organization and nearly drowned Liberty University in bankruptcy.

Reber and Thomas came to Falwell's rescue in the nick of time. Their non-profit Christian Heritage Foundation of Forest, Va., snapped up a big chunk of Liberty's debt for $2.5 million, a fraction of its face value. Thousands of small religious investors who had bought church construction bonds through a Texas company were the big losers. But Falwell shed no tears. He told local reporters that the moment was "the greatest single day of financial advantage" in the school's history.

Left unmentioned in the happy sermon was the identity of the bigger guardian angel who had been protecting Falwell's financial interests -- from a distance and without publicity. That secret benefactor was the Rev. Sun Myung Moon, the self-proclaimed South Korean messiah who is controversial with many fundamentalist Christians because of his bizarre Biblical interpretations and his brainwashing tactics that have torn thousands of young people from their families. Moon also has grown harshly anti-American in recent years.

Covertly, Moon helped bail out Liberty University through one of his front groups which funneled $3.5 million to the Reber-Thomas Christian Heritage Foundation, the non-profit that had purchased the school's debt.

I discovered this Moon-Falwell connection while looking for something else: how much Moon's Women's Federation for World Peace had paid former President George Bush for a series of speeches in Asia in 1995. I obtained the federation's Internal Revenue Service records but discovered that Bush's undisclosed speaking fee was buried in a line item of $13.6 million for conference expenses.

There was, however, a listing for a $3.5 million "educational" grant to the Christian Heritage Foundation. A call to the Virginia corporate records office confirmed that the foundation was the one run by Reber and Thomas.
...

Lastly, this is a documentary of Sun Myung Moon speaking at the God Bless America Festival in 1976. 45,000 people attended. Moon's speech starts at 13:37.

America must return to the true founding spirit of the nation! America must return to Godism and absolutely God centered ideology!

At 20:05-
The American forefathers fled from religious persecution in Europe, came to the new world and, in the spirit of building one nation under God, they brought about a new nation here in America, which is now at the threshold of her third Century! In a similar way today, people are fleeing from the Communist world of slavery to the free world united! The free world must liberate the enslaved communist world. This time, our task is build one world under God!

At 21:10 -
Why has Reverend Moon come to America, where he has encountered such tribulation? I came to America because this is the country which God, our heavenly father, has chosen! I know God’s will is to save the world and to do this America must lead the way! This is why I came to America! New ideology, which the Unification Church brings, is Godism - an absolutely God centered ideology! It has a power to awaken America and it has the power to raise up the model of the ideal nation of God upon this land of America!

At 23:38 -
With that done, the rest of the world will follow America’s example and will build the kingdom of God upon their respective lands! Then we shall all truly become brothers and sisters under one father- God! This will be a world of love, a world of happiness! This will be the Eternal Ideal World of God! Indeed, it will be the Kingdom of God on Earth! We will build it with our hands!

At 24:54 -
My beloved citizens of America! Today, let us pledge to God Almighty our loyalty and dedication to the Fulfillment of the Divine Mission! Ladies and gentlemen, in the name of God, let us unite and together build the Kingdom of God right here on Earth!

It sounds very familiar. I noticed that there was no mention of Jesus.

Some of the ex-Moonies in the video tell stories of how they got married.
Learned about the Moonies in very early 2000´s ( maybe late 90´s ) as well as the US connections , then later their judicial/financial shenanigans became public the whole thing is very scary imo . ( abc video on youtube on 7000 vows in South Korea )

Watched it life yesterday.

First, I hope Candace isn’t falling off the deep end with her speculations about “robots“.

Having said that I don’t think she is going bonkers there (for now, at least) but has addressed something quite interesting and intriguing to think about in the first half of the show:

- It almost seems like the behavior of many people towards the Kirk thing and what Candace is doing seems almost like “robot people“ trying to intervene. I really think she could be onto something there! You need to watch it to get it. Also see below. It is basically almost like “robot people“ trying to make sense of what happened, and more crucially, trying to convince “not robot people“ that what they and/or the PTB are saying is reality. THERBY making things worse and worse and accomplishing the exact opposite every time they do something because they simply can’t “compute“ and understand real humans which have a soul. Also in my mind what Candace is seeing and trying to describe there can probably be seen not only in the Kirk assassination but many other things nowadays.

- We here on the forum of course immediately start to think about several things when hearing what Candace says:

First: Ponerology and various anomalies in there like Psyhopathy. Secondly: Organic Portal’s and/or authoritarian followers. Thirdly: A possible invasion of “Aliens“ into and/or through human forms.

So, Candace might be realizing in her way that humans are not all the same and that not everyone has a soul. And perhaps that there are more soulless people running around than you would assume.

More intriguing though is that it almost seems like Candace is describing and channeling a sort of awareness of that differentiation on earth that is now becoming more obvious and that souled people might have the chance to separate themselves from those robots now, or perhaps more correctly expressed, follow the other path more towards STO.

It has become clearer now what Candace means with robot and/or “AI“ people and luckily it isn’t bonkers:

- Basically she suggests that there might be quite a number of (especially famous and/or influential or powerful) people out there who are more or less “remote controlled“ NOT because they are AI (as in mechanical robots or something) but for example because they have been either deliberately and/or accidentally traumatized as children and through MK-Ultra type techniques conditioned to do what they are told and/or do negative things. I think there is a good chance that something like that is at least part of the picture.

When you want to learn a bit more about the Moon cult, Ian Carroll has been digging into it and is finding interesting stuff:

Unsurprisingly, from what I understand, the initial leader of the moon cult was HEAVILY engaged in politic manipulations and intelligence circles AND he and his cult were (through a couple of layers) basically directly created by the CIA.
