Child all backed up

Hi Odyssey,

I posted a link explaining that Oats per se, do not naturally contain Gluten; however, they do contain a protein called Avenin, which have the same properties as Gluten and could irritate people who have Gluten sensitivity. I agree that it is a short term fix, however, if someone doesn't have a lot of sensitivity, it's a good way to "release" what is stuck quickly. It's always good to find ways in general in which to eat properly daily, so that the organism runs smoothly in the long run. :-[

Also consider vitamin c as well, which combined with magnesium and plenty of water will keep the bowels soft. Constipation is a terribly painful condition, and in such extreme situation I agree to listen to the doctor, but use the above method for maintenance and recovery.

The diet improvements should help, and regardless of supplementation make sure they stay properly hydrated at all times. Good luck!

Thank you again all for your thoughts, information and sympathy for my son. While their mother is still set in her view, my son came good and coped with some diet changes I demanded and had to fight to get. His movements are fine and under control these days.
Of interest my be, their mother just went to Bali for 3 weeks and the kids were with me that whole time (using my diet), upon her return she remark 'how healthy and happy they look' and 'so full of energy'. As per usual when I offered the reason why (diet) she stopped listen and closed down. Incredible that she denies the evidence she herself saw, no?
