Climate Police Force Rollout in Canada and Elsewhere

Looks like they're going ahead with creating literal Climate Police to target and destroy farmers for "climate crimes."

News from Canada about an alleged "exclusive leak" of architectural schematics for a detention center run by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, containing a firearms armoury, interrogation rooms, biological labs, media relations offices, “controlled quiet rooms,” and intelligence facilities.

Architectural plans have been leaked to The Counter Signal, revealing Trudeau’s sinister plans to weaponize the climate change agenda.

The Ministry of Environment & Climate Change Canada (ECCC) is building a new facility in Winnipeg that will be home to a firearms armoury, interrogation rooms, biological labs, media relations offices, “controlled quiet rooms,” and intelligence facilities.

The plans, which were drawn up by a firm in Winnipeg, open a window into Trudeau’s future plans for Climate Enforcement.

Down the hall from the proposed “Firearms Storage” rooms are several evidence rooms, interrogation suites, and adjacent recording rooms.

According to a recently posted Indeed.com ad, the Ministry is searching to recruit a battalion of Climate “Pollution” Officers, a unit within the coldly named “Environmental Enforcement Directorate.”

If you emit too much carbon or use too much fertilizer, you may just be on the Climate Communists’ hit list.

The entire facility that was leaked to The Counter Signal is sketched to be over 50,000 square feet, will house hundreds of ECCC staff, and will also be home to weather forecasting staff.

The Impact Assessment Act (IAA), which was quietly passed in the final days of Trudeau’s majority government, grants sweeping power to Ministerial “Enforcement Officers.” But, until now, little has been explained about where and how Climate Police will be deployed.

The IAA empowers agents of the Ministry of Climate Change to enter premises without a warrant to “verify compliance or prevent non-compliance with [the Act].

Trudeau’s Climate Police may enter any project location that affects the environment to take photographs, access computer systems and communication devices, and “direct any person to put any machinery, vehicle or equipment in the place into operation or to cease operating it.” Climate Police may also prohibit access to the location entirely.

It seems to be no coincidence that this Climate Police armoury was placed in the heartland of agricultural production in Canada. This information comes just days after agents dispatched by ECCC were accused of trespassing on private land in Saskatchewan to collect Nitrogen samples, the newest target of Trudeau’s climate change agenda.

According to the landowners who confronted the federal agents trespassing on their land, they were told that the purpose of them being there was to test the water in the farmers’ dugouts to measure nitrate levels.

Trudeau’s government recently announced a policy to reduce the use of fertilizer on Canadian farms by 30%. This policy has been widely criticized by farmers across the country and by provincial governments in the Western provinces, with opponents saying it will cripple the food supply.

Some observers have said that there is reason to suspect that these actions are the first steps in replicating the attacks on farmers that have provoked widespread unrest in the Netherlands and elsewhere in Europe.

While the federal government has not yet confirmed it, there is speculation that the water sampling we now know is underway will be used as baseline measurements to enforce reductions in fertilizer usage going forward.

The Counter Signal has reached out to ECCC for comment.

I don't know how to judge how authentic the leak is, but going by what official sources say about the Federal stance on climate change and the need for more serious policing, if something like this isn't being built then something mighty similar must be in the works to enforce the nitrogen reduction orders of the Federal legislature and the ECCC .

Similar news from France and more broadly the EU.

As reported by Breitbart, French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin is hiring 3,000 “green police” officers to go after those who violate “green-related criminal issues” to safeguard the country from disasters supposedly caused by human-related climate change.

In an interview with Le Journal du Dimanche, “Faced with this, we must improve the work of judicial investigation,” Darmanin said. “We have therefore decided to massively reinforce the resources of the Central Office for the Fight against Damage to the Environment and to launch 3,000 ‘green police’ posts.”

He continued, saying that the climate change police force “will be a revolution.” {Sort of like the Reign of Terror?}

The announcement comes after the EU crisis management tsar Janez Lenarcic called for the rapid creation of a Europe-wide “Civil Protection Force” to enforce climate laws across the EU.

What such a force would mean for the sovereignty of member states hardly needs to be mentioned, and the call for an international police force was heavily criticized.

“Handing these irresponsible and unaccountable bureaucrats even more power would just simply be irresponsible,” said MEP Cristian Terhes.

“What Europe needs is a rebirth of national and sovereign democracy, with creativity and power for local people rather than one size fits all bureaucratic control from the centre of Brussels.”

Of course, Europe isn’t the only place planning to create a police force that specifically handles offences related to climate change. Canada is getting in on the action, too.

As reported by The Counter Signal, it appears that the Ministry of Environment & Climate Change Canada (ECCC) is currently working on a building to house such officers.

And if that wasn’t enough evidence, ECCC has posted an ad on Indeed.com for an “Enforcement Officer – Environmental (pollution) enforcement.”

According to the ad, “Environment and Climate Change Canada’s Enforcement Branch ensures that organizations and individuals respect laws administered by Environment and Climate Change Canada that protect the natural environment, its biodiversity and the health of Canadians.”

Duties include “conducting inspections to ensure compliance with federal environmental laws,” as well as “conducting investigations into alleged violations of federal environmental laws, including taking statements from witnesses or accused persons, preparing and executing search warrants, reviewing and assessing evidence, and preparing court briefs.”

Officers will further be required to wear uniforms and carry safety equipment, including body armour, handcuffs, batons, and even prohibited weapons.

France’s climate change officers will likely be similarly equipped.

I find the news that they plan to give Cow Fart Police automatic rifles to be a very chilling and dystopian prospect. But the playing field will level soon enough so I'm not so sure they will succesfully be able to implement their full designs on us.

The plans might not fly as they expect them to, however after all the conspiracies that turned into reality in the past two years, I would not be surprised if this is all factual.

And despite the fact that they're going to be hiding behind the "climate" I suppose it can really work to get rid of dissidence and political opposition. At least with covid they had to test you, there was a physical aspect to the way things were decided.. however, with climate... it's such a vague idea that anything can be claimed to be hurting the planet in some way... and lo... you're a climate criminal.

It also struck me that the Canadian government said they'd be using this years readings as their baseline, but this year isn't an average year, because many farmers used less fertilizer due to the shortages and greater cost, which means that nitrogen use will be limited to what would be considered a bad harvest year.

I don't know how to judge how authentic the leak is, but going by what official sources say about the Federal stance on climate change and the need for more serious policing, if something like this isn't being built then something mighty similar must be in the works to enforce the nitrogen reduction orders of the Federal legislature and the ECCC .

With regards to France, it seems that the powers of these green shirts, like those in Canada, will have a rather broad reach:
In 2004, the Central Office to Tackle Environmental Crime (OCLAESP) was founded. In July, it led investigations into the great fire of Landiras in Gironde.

{snip}

In addition to the inquests into numerous fires that took place this year, OCLAESP investigators are tasked with fighting against the trafficking of various substances (medicines, waste, protected species, etc.) as well as doping in sport, physical pollution, food scandals or bioterrorism. France to hire 3,000 'green police' to improve investigation of environmental issues, medicine tracking, and bioterrorism -- Sott.net

They claim that the 3,000 new hires will be primarily deployed to investigate arsonists and forest fires, except that they also say: "there were between 80 and 120 fires per day in France; to date we have carried out 26 arrests of suspected arsonists.", which amounts to 3,600 fires a month across the entire country... Even on the face of it, it doesn't add up.

We can get an idea of how these green shirts will be enforcing the laws by looking at the UK which, last year, voted to allow corporations to dump sewage into waterways.

This tweet shows sewage being dumped into a beach area:

So it's likely that, not only will the greenshirts have an insidiously vague and wide reaching remit, but they'll also be targeting the average citizen, whilst corporations will have free reign. And there's so many avenues that they can target the average person, from watering your garden during a drought to keeping a few chickens outside during a 'bird flu outbreak'.

In contrast, and as an example of how environmental laws can be enforced properly, over in Russia, a new law is already in force that docks the profits from a company which is found to be destroying the environment. Just last year a mining company was fined "$2 billion after more than 20,000 tons of diesel fuel leaked from a storage tank into rivers and soil".

This is true, it reminds me of when they came up with the carbon credits, and what corporations would do is buy these credits from other countries.. essentially paying them to... not produce the carbon that they were going to continue to produce? or something along those lines. Essentially it was like buying oxygen from a different place in the world, and so the corporations managed to get away with not changing any practices.. and at the same time claim they were going "green".

So, yes.. they are targeting the small citizen. It's rather transparent, and the saddest part is that after 2020, these initiatives will catch on and be welcomed with open arms.

Slippery slope. Going through your trash to see paper not properly recycled, finding evidence on such paper to be used against you in other ways (is ink toxic?), arresting you for burning paper, exceeding normal electricity use patterns, etc. Could be used against anyone they decide to target because everyone will be a potential criminal against Earth. God help us.

Yes, with open arms until reality hits them in the belly. Then, perhaps nothing will convert them faster as they come face to face with said realty. Ultimately, is this not part of the achilleas heel of those doing the climate cooing - they might face unimaginable blowback?

I live in an area where there is a strong magnetism to the Gaia cult among many, and yet in almost each case, they live in their own world of hypocrisy, and deep down they know it. So far, many have mined he public purse for climate grants while cozying up to NGO's, citing every type of cause. However, when push comes to shove they are the first to log their properties, to sneak around in their gas guzzling campers, flying here and there, burning what must be burnt as heating fuel - and they like meat et cetera (yet hide behind the façade of kale salads.) If they own an EV and must suddenly look in the mirror of child slaves from the Congo, this becomes extremely uncomfortable for them, and they will try and google and fact check it all until their consciousness is cleansed, but the reality does not change - again, they (or many) know it deep down on some level.

It is going to be interesting.

Could be used against anyone they decide to target because everyone will be a potential criminal against Earth. God help us.

They will try hard, and for awhile they may accomplish their goals somewhat - during which it will be painful if it plays out. Yes, God help us during this period if so.

This is actually very interesting, and very true.

It reminded me of something that I realized the other day, I was smoking a cigarette a few days ago while at work, and the town where my office is located is very pretty, very clean and decently expensive to live in. There isn't much wokeness that I can see, however, as I was smoking, the garbage truck showed up, picked up the garbage from the entire building, and drove off.

And a thought occurred to me, about all these people who are so hell bent on saving the planet by killing cows, and stop fossil fuels, and ride bikes and don't own plastic bags. For the most part, none of them could survive in a world without all the things they're trying to get rid of, in fact, most of them probably do not realize that they don't want to live in such a world.

I thought, imagine if we were to ban the use of gasoline, and so.. there would be no garbage truck to come and pick up all the things we want to, and need to, get rid of, and so keep our towns and apartments clean, and the illusion that we live "oh so green..." intact?

I struck me that most of the people that claim to want to change the world into a greener place, have very little idea (and not just scientifically) how even their immediate world works. The tiny things that keep their lives posh and clean, be it garbage collection, plumbers, delivery trucks, airplanes/ships to get their "morally harvested fair trade goods" and so on... all rely on the very things they're vocally rooting to outlaw.

It's like that one campaign to defund the police from a little while ago, sounded awesome! if you didn't think about it, but the minute crime rates started to go up, most of the cities where it was even considered, immediately back peddled their decisions.

The information is said to be authentic.

Last week, The Counter Signal reported that the Ministry of Environment & Climate Change Canada (ECCC) is building a new facility, which includes biological labs, media relations offices, intelligence facilities and “controlled quiet rooms.”

In an emailed statement, Environment Canada confirmed documents first published by The Counter Signal are “authentic” — and that some enforcement officers are entitled to weapons to carry out their duties.

“The floor plans in the Counter Signal article are authentic,” confirmed spokesperson Amelie Desmarais. “They were shared publicly in July 2021 as part of a contracting process to secure services to renovate the floors occupied by ECCC, mainly to align with Government of Canada GCWorkplace standards.”

As previously reported by The Counter Signal, the facility will be over 50,000 square feet and house hundreds of Environment Canada and weather forecasting staff.

Environment Canada said its enforcement branch is mandated to enforce federal environmental legislation aimed at pollution prevention and protecting Canada’s wildlife and biodiversity. Enforcement responsibilities cover more than 60 regulations.

The department said the agency has officers across Canada under Environment Canada legislation and the Criminal Code. These officers have powers and protections of Peace Officers, the agency said.

“They have the authority to issue enforcement actions,” Desmarais explained.

“A limited number of ECCC employees are authorized and trained to carry firearms in the context of their duties.”

Enforcement officers require “specialized tools” to perform their duties and “keep them safe,” Desmarais said. They also require facilities to house and secure the tools, the department said.

Desmarais said officers routinely take witness statements when working on files and “so we have specially designed interview rooms for this purpose.”

Speaking about the facility’s “controlled quiet rooms,” the department said some offices include closed “quiet rooms” for work requiring a high degree of concentration. “Control” indicates that only employees with access can enter this secure area.

“Those specific areas are essential to the Enforcement’s integrity, security and operational efficiency for both investigative and inspection processes,” Desmarais said.

According to an Indeed job listing, the Ministry is searching to recruit Climate “Pollution” Officers under its “Environmental Enforcement Directorate.”

The department added that it’s currently hiring new officers to maintain its existing workforce.

The leak comes days after Environment Canada agents allegedly trespassed on Saskatchewan farmland.

Landowners who confronted the federal agents were told agents were testing water in farmers’ dugouts to measure nitrate levels. ECCC said it was collecting samples in water bodies, but “no nitrates or other nutrients.”

Nitrogen levels in fertilizer are the newest target of Trudeau’s climate agenda. The Trudeau government recently announced a “voluntary” initiative to reduce fertilizer use on Canadian farms by 30%.

So far no public discussion from gov't or MSM as to how organic agriculture differs with the much reduced list of chemicals and the abjuring of the chemical fertilizers.

"

Organic Agriculture and Climate Change

"As global temperatures rise and weather patterns become more erratic, the intersection between climate change and agriculture is crucial to understanding the role agriculture plays in contributing to and mitigating global warming. Carbon sequestration, lower-input of fossil fuel dependant resources, and use of renewable energy all present opportunities for organic agriculture to lead the way in reducing energy consumption and mitigating the negative affects of energy emissions. ..... .

FAO promotes organic agriculture as an alternative approach that maximizes the performance of renewable resources and optimizes nutrient and energy flows in agroecosystems. .... Many field trials worldwide show that organic fertilization compared to mineral fertilization is increasing soil organic carbon and thus, sequestering large amounts of CO2 from the atmosphere to the soil. ...."

Organic Agriculture: Climate Change

From Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia:

"In 2021, Canada was home to 7,300 certified organic operations, accounting for 3.3% of total operations. Of these operations, Quebec was found to be the home to the largest number of organic operations across the country, followed by Saskatchewan. The total number of certified organic producers in Canada had increased by 5.4% since 2019.

In 2021, Canada's organic market was worth an estimated $6.5 billion, of which 80% is spent on certified organic foods and non-alcoholic beverages. Organic foods now make up 3.3% of total food sales, and on average Canadians spend $184 each week on organic grocery (COTA, 2013)."
(huh? 2013 reference? ??) Also there is a percentage above the organic certified operations of organic-by-default farms in Canada.

About Organic in Canada

With conventional food prices going so high, organic food with a legitimately higher price may be more competitive, though I suppose stores might have different pricing policies to counteract that. It would depend on levels of greed.

Also, backyard gardening is filling in a bit and the few other gardeners I talk with, not a wide sampling for sure, use bio gardening approach. The popular gardening programs on CBC, Paul Zammit and Ed Lawrence favour of natural approaches to gardening problems. I wonder how long their shows will be un-edited or without emphasis on relying on and understanding nature.

Just looking for the silver lining!

Also it comes to mind, a favourite snippet from recent C's transcript, the question asked, how are the PTB plans going on a scale of 1 to 10 and the answer was '4'. It's possible it has reduced to '3' by now. Of course it could have gone the other way but I don't feel it has.
