Excerpt:
"Today's college students are more narcissistic and self-centered than their predecessors, according to a comprehensive new study by five psychologists who worry that the trend could be harmful to personal relationships and American society."
Well, yeah. The issue of narcissism has come up a bit recently so I found it interesting that this story comes up.
Another excerpt:
"Narcissism can have benefits, said study co-author W. Keith Campbell of the University of Georgia, suggesting it could be useful in meeting new people "or auditioning on 'American Idol.'"
I'm not too sure that I agree with what is said here. I wouldn't call "healthy" dealings with others narcissism. And an audition for "American Idol" is certainly not real high on my to-do list, but there is some good information in the article I think.
