Connecting the dots

Just a suggestion - is it worthwhile putting the past monthly Connecting- the- dots series of articles on a side bar? It would bring new readers up to date and also enable all readers to readily check how events have (or have not) panned out. It seems a shame to have them buried -so to speak - somewhere on the site.

Great suggestion, treesparrow. The SOTT tech-gods have been prayed to - we will await their response. ;D

The Beast File Google Hungry Beast video in the article Connecting the Dots: Cosmic Climate Change, Financial Terrorism was probably made with After Effects. It is a 2D animation post-effects program, for making quick and easy 2D video animations, layering pictures, slides on top of each other with transparent edges:

For example: butterfly flying over a flower-field is
1. Two-frames: one butterfly picture, second: same butterfly but folded, this is alternated twice per second to give illusion of flying butterfly.
2. The moving insect is then pulled on a 'path', over the whole flower-field to make it look it really is flying. 3. Flowerfield picture is larger than the actual video frame and scrolled to make it look like the camera is moving, following the butterfly.

All this prepared and 'rendered' together creates a movie, ready to be posted on Youtube.

The video is pretty pictographic, symbols, transparent GiF-s any element (HAARP tower, lizard) can be made moving, appearing over/behind any surface, its like making a 2D puppet show - almost a cartoon - moving cut paper slices on top of each other. Added effects are: glowing, disappearing, fading in/out, making a mans face transition into a Lizard face. Very symbolic, has the flow, dynamic, can get peoples attention if done right.

Do you think this technique useful in representing, emphasizing Sott/QFG/FOTCM topics?

I think it would work pretty well on many subjects.
A visual dynamic presentation like the google video can really help to visualize some concepts.
It's easy to trace such cut-out images or use stock images to animate in this way once you have a script/storyboard to follow.
My two cents.
