Contiguity

you are trying to fit much larger and complex events in a single theory, the "Contiguity theory".

I'm tending to disagree at the moment. But I'll remain open to the possibility that you're right.

I haven't denied the effects of TMI nor its impact - I've just attempted to point out the differences between TMI and Contiguity perhaps rather clumsily. I've agreed that there is an emotional impact on learning and I've sided with Skinners critics.

To clarify - I'm not saying that the manipulation of contiguity is the only method of control, but that I believe it is one method, or part of a picture - another piece of the puzzle if that makes sense. And sometimes it helps to see and understand each piece of a puzzle in isolation so that variations in the whole can be understood, OSIT.

Perhaps I could have been clearer in the opening sentence of my initial post?
