A friend on facebook messaged me Looking for documentaries
on corporate psychopaths I Sent him "I am fishead" anyone
know of any more documentaries out there on the subject
Thanks Liam

Snakes in Suits is a good book to read on corporate psychopaths. It's not a documentary, but it'll provide more information. There is The Corporation documentary, which is more of a look at the corporation structured after psychopathy. There are some issues with that idea since not all corporations behave in psychopathic ways, but there's some good info in it too. If I remember correctly, Hare talks about some of the material from Snakes in Suits.

You might want to have a look at the film "Four Horsemen" which came out in 2012. It touches on similar themes that The Corporation addresses about corporate psychopathy. You can see the film's trailer at the website here: http://www.fourhorsemenfilm.com/

This was also the first one that came to my mind.

What I could recommend, but isn't about Psychopaths directly is the documentation Inside Job from 2010, where you could easily replace the bankers with psychopaths. I hope this helps a bit.

I recently watched a couple that were recommended to me by forum member msante. They don't speak openly about psychopathy, but they are aimed against corporate and financial power. Both can be found in youtube:

'The Yes Men Fix the World'. A couple of activists have a very peculiar way of going around causing trouble for evil corporations. It's actually quite funny and entertaining, and surprising how much they can get away with!

https://youtu.be/ajkItiDgTLY

'The Money Fix - A Monetary Reform Documentary'. Explains crystal clear what is wrong with the currency and banking system (the creation of money by private entities, fractional reserve banking, money issued as debt), and discusses grassroots alternatives.

Also, I watched 'The One Percent', also on youtube, and recommended by someone else on this forum (can't remember who). It's interesting, because it is made by a young man who is part of that one percent, and who is concerned about the unfairness of it all, and you get to see some of the people from that small segment of society, some of whom do speak and behave like psychos, but others who do not.

Hi liam1310,

I did a google search for corporate psychopaths and switched to the video section. There's plenty material in all sorts of quality.

The following three are my personal subjective selection but you could easily search for more or different via the three YT pages I'll mention.

Also, please note that I haven't watched any video myself but only selected them on the ground of names sounding familiar.

#1. The Psychopath Next Door Doc Zone CBC Canada Dr Robert Hare BC Dr Stephen Porter:

#2. Defense Against the Psychopath (Full length Version) Stefan Verstappen
Geüpload op 14 dec. 2010
Defense Against the Psychopath is a documentary excerpted from chapter one of my book; The Art of Urban Survival. Teaches people how to recognize and defend against our society's most dangerous predators, psychopaths.

#3. Interview with a psychopath by Sverre R. Nilsen
Gepubliceerd op 3 feb. 2014
James H. Fallon (born 1947) is an American neuroscientist. He is professor of psychiatry and human behavior and emeritus professor of anatomy and neurobiology in the School of Medicine at the University of California, Irvine. His research interests include adult stem cells, chemical neuroanatomy and circuitry, higher brain functions, and brain imaging.
Fallon, who himself has the neurological and genetic correlates of psychopathy, has been categorized as a "pro-social psychopath", an assessment with which he concurs. In October of 2013 his book, The Psychopath Inside: A Neuroscientist's Personal Journal into the Dark Side of the Brain, was released by Current.

Hope this helps you out a bit further. :)

I'd be careful of this last one. Fallon admits he's a psychopath, and he twists things to make it sound like there is such a thing as a 'pro-social psychopath'. Psychopaths' words are worthless, and even worse than that since they cause so much damage.

Thank you for your cautious advice, Renaissance. I've hesitated to include this one but did so anyway, trusting one of the members would correct it if I was wrong with that -- and this is exactly what has happened now. So, thanks again for stepping in. :cool2:
