Can a person can know if tomorrow we stop factory farming and we have small farms farms. How many animals and land should we have? There will there be enough of animals and land for the 7 billion people? I think Keith Lierre talks about two hectares by person. Can we feed all humans today?

The transition to small farm production from factory farms would take time and a driving market/motivation to do so. On the ultimate viability of this you can read some of Joel Salatin's books (Polyface Farms) - in his opinion it is quite viable but would involve much time for land/soil reclamation and re-purposing.
