I always admired certain animals for their survival, maternal/paternal or instincts, but they can do much more.
I've seen dogs looking for pedestrian crossing before crossing a road, or waiting at the stop lights.
Crows are also intelligent - they smash walnuts by releasing them to fall to the earth - but never seen something like this video.

I just love smart animals.
The other day my wife came across a kangaroo standing at a bus stop.
She didn't stop the car to give it a lift though..
I wonder where it was going?

I used to work by the beach, and often I would see crows carrying clam shells and dropping them from high altitudes onto rocks to break them open. They need those omega 3's for their brains methinks. ;)

Hi,
I remember the case of a crow brought up by humans which remained open to "education". I think this is the case of the crow in the above video, as everything was arranged for him to do the trick, so he might have been trained to do it. Anyway, it showed remarkable openness for developing new skills, so the environment matters a lot in everybody's development, be it human or animal.
We have an influence over all of our partners, so better pay respect and attention to them.
