Daniel Kemp as 'EarthEmperor' and his vblog review of Political Ponerology

The Living Force
I was rather surprised this morning when a person on FB (not part of this forum) posted a link to a video by this guy Daniel Kemp nicknamed, "Earth Emperor", where he reviewed Political Ponerology. I hadn't come across this video on the forum here and none of my searches on "Daniel Kemp" or "earthemperor" turned up any other threads on here, so I hope I'm not duplicating anything.

Anyways, here is the link to his video:

Basically the video is him just introducing the book and reading a series of quotes from it. From time to time he interjects with a comment, but most of the video is just PP quotes. This seemed like a good introduction to the material in PP, but I think it would have helped if he could have come up with some recent examples in the news to relate to some of the quotes. It would have been good to hear why he felt some of the quotes were important to read (I think they are important, but it's nice to hear others opinions on the matter!).

At a part around 17:20-17:30 in the video he reads the quote:
"Persons less distinctly inclined in the pathocratic direction include those affected by some states caused by the toxic activities of certain substances such as ether, carbon monoxide and possibly some endotoxins, under the condition that this occurred in childhood."
His comment after this quote surprised me:
maybe there's a benefit to smoking?
:cool2:

He also has a blog here:

He has a couple other videos on Jung's ideas and some other stuff although I haven't looked at it too closely yet.

I wonder if this guy is part of this forum perhaps? He seems like he would fit right in. :)

I don't know who he is but I did watch part of his video some time ago. I thought that there was likely people who would benefit from it but I didn't have the time to do any research on him.

Something I learned from General Semantics studies: If you want something to stand the test of time, make it real, make it true, and leave it unindexed.

IOW, for this particular video, I think it's a good intro for a general audience that might not go down in flames due to linking up with time/event sensitive issues. Of course, I could be mistaken as to his intentions.

That was my thought too, that his presentation might reach a certain audience.

I posted a message on his blog asking him to check out this forum if he's interested in exploring ponerology in more depth.

Update

In the last few days he has added a video review of Robert Hare's Without Conscience

I can't comment on his review having not read the book.
