Daylight fireworks

It's an interesting concept, but I'm getting war drum vibes from this. I wonder if this is some sort of conditioning?

Definitely has the feeling of bombs and smoke screens that you see in countries under war. They don't even look that good in daylight. Fireworks are best done at night or at least in the evening.

Ditto, it really looks like a war zone.. not cool.

I don't like fireworks and I live in a country where they love fireworks. Every time there are fireworks, and some are really noisy, I said to myself: I would like to put this people who love fireworks in a war country. We will see if after that they still love fireworks.

Insane, really. All this noise. Insane!

Here is my rant:
"I don't like sports, and I live in a country where they love sports. I wish all these people had to watch videos of surgeries to repair sports injuries. Maybe then we would see if they still love sports and the injuries it causes."

I think you are being unfair.

I like fireworks. I have guns. They are completely different.

Complain if you wish, but I do not agree with you.

That is your prerogative, of course. But then, why take loreta's comment personally? After all, that it her personal impression. Besides, don't think that the issue is with "guns" or noise per se, but probably with PTSD that people in war zones develop. I am sure that for them fireworks are probably not particularly fun.

And btw, apparently fireworks were invented in China and initially used to ward off evil spirits. Seems like the initial meaning got completely twisted and reversed.
