Decision making method using notes and body's reaction to them

I have a way of making decisions or finding truth and I wonder how objectively valid and true it is.

So, I basically take two (or sometimes more) square blank notes on each of which I write an option, e.g. "Move" and "Stay where I am".

I then turn them around so I cannot see what I wrote and shuffle them while I ask from Jesus/the C's/STO beings to assist me in helping make the right choice.

The next step I take, is to put them on the ground and stand on them. I my body feels energised or I tend to lean forward or feel happy, it's a yes for me. If I tend to lean backward or if I feel drained, then it's an no for me.

I must say that most of the time the note that's on the left hand side tends to be the yes note and the note on the right hand side, the no note.

I'm wondering if I started to make an association with the left as good and the right as bad.

The method does have something to with family constellations, I think.

Does anyone know what this method is called? Does anyone have any insights to share on this method?

I use this method sometimes, too. Sometimes also to help people. I think it is a simplification of what you said family constellation. I don't pay attention to left or right but simply watch the feelings I get. If I feel stressed - well, then the way will be a stressful one . . .
Somebody told me that bending forward means a yes and backwards is a no. I think you have to find out whether your left "is good" and "right" is bad. It works different for people. But you obviously have already found out! :-)Same as with a pendulum.

If your pelvis or cervical spine, or something else, is slightly askew it might make left predominate. Speaking from experience with a left leg shorter than a right leg and a left foot larger than right foot, the movement of body, the body dowsing forward and back may be more useful, not the side to side? I do use body dowsing sometimes, and you can even just identify the sensation of the 'yes' energy and 'no' energy after doing it awhile without having to move. 'Yes' for me is a faint uprush of energy, 'no', a dropping down feeling.

Thank you for your answers. As to the left and right I mentioned, I'd like to clarify that the piece of paper (= note) that is on the floor to the left of the other note (that's on the right) is usually the one that feels like a yes. I wonder if I somehow inadvertently trained my body to make the left option feel good. Does that make sense?

Yes.
Another interpretation would be that you trained yourself to (unconsciously) put the best option on your left side, for whatever reason.

And do you pratice in different places, or at least orientations ?
Because if that's at always the same place, with the same orientation (like in front of your sofa, or in back of your desk), it may also be a "telluric" (Earth-related) energetic phenomenon.

Long time ago, I trained myself to feel what's often called "subtle energies".
And some major thing that I learned during this process, is that someone should have a very clear and precise mental intent, such as "feeling this particular person's / animal's / tree's / place's / etc. `energy´ ".
Because there are many many sources of such "energies", that one can be sensitive to.

Another major point, which is really tricky (to me) and so hard to acquire, is, in the case of a choice, to have absolutely no assumption (or preference) on what could be the best option.
Whatever way you choose (be it the process that you described, using a pendulum, some tarot cards, the Yi King/Ching, etc.), you have to be in this neutral state of mind, while doing it.
So meditating (or maybe praying) during a few minutes before doing the process would be a good idea.

That sounds a lot like applied kinesiology, where certain information is ascertained from the resistance of muscles to certain ideas queried of them, as far as I understand it, I know there's a lot more to it than that, but that seems to be the gist of it.

It always made me think of the antennae encoded in our proteins and how they can tune in to certain information, but they may also be a way to read and get feedback from whatever might be going on in our bodies.
