Hanging Bar Exercises Benefits

Mankind's two legged stance, that constant downward pull of gravity alter our inherited physical structure, this is why we are taller in the morning than we are at night, and our height actually decreases as we get older.
So, the incessant downward pull of gravity alters our anatomy, physiology, intellectual and emotional responses.

Most of the stress of gravity on us is borne by the inter-vertebral discs of our balancing spine, the small pads of fibrous cartilage which are sandwiched between every pair of our vertebrae are literally shock absorbers, from strain and stress.

So, we need to Decompressing spine by just straight arms and stay hanging on the Bar(I uses Door Bar)
The benefits,
Stretches the spinal by reverse gravity effects.
Grow taller( for women under age 22, for man under 25)
Looks taller, for older people.
Improve your grip.
Relieves chronic back pain.

If one can build up to stay on hanging bar for two minutes, then perhaps switch to an underhand grip to work forearm muscles equally.

There are Gravity Boots and Inversion Tables to assist with spinal decompression. However, a standard pull-up bar will do the job just fine and save money.

Yep, I've been doing this hanging out at the gym for a while now. Feels useful. I have recently begun climbing so hanging there for a while improves grip strength as well. Win-win.

Thanks for the information. I will do this, it is a little hard for the arms but with persistence surely it is also good to strength the arms also. And it is a good stretching.

I remember long long time ago when I was a teenager I had very often lumbagos, not anymore since I started to go to the gym or do Yoga. But before I had lumbagos very often and one day my father took me in his arms and stretch my spinal cord by lifting me from the ground. And I felt better. We tend to forget how our spine needs a good stretching because how bad we treat her.

I can't find the youtube video right now but as I understand the best way to decompress the spine is to simply spread yourself apart on the bed so that the sheets are pulling your spine apart. That way you are decompressing for 8 hours straight, which is far more effective. IE light decompression for hours is more effective than forceful decompression for a few minutes.

If you're lacking upper body strength there's always an inversion table. Here's an example _http://www.amazon.com/Invertio-Premium-Folding-Inversion-Backrest/dp/B00G03HY4G/ref=sr_1_1?s=exercise-and-fitness&ie=UTF8&qid=1458259252&sr=1-1-spons&keywords=inversion+table&psc=1

It feels great.

Hanging on bars is fun. I have a chin-up bar like the link below one I hang from. If the bus is quiet and not crowded I can hang from the rails too.
