Doctor Who / Torchwood.

Love Doctor Who and Tourchwood. It can be very thought provoking. I found Tourchwood Miracle Day and bought the DVDs. Really enjoyed the series.

I wanted to post this for Dr. Who fans. I thought it was really amazing how everyone collaborated to make it.

Very neat, thanks for sharing. :)

I was going to start a thread on Doctor Who - glad I checked first and found this one.

Anyway, 53 years ago today, the day after JFK was murdered by the National Security State, Doctor Who premiered on British television. For many nerds across the globe (myself included) today is Doctor Who Day. So yeah, happy birthday, Doctor Who!

I was wondering if there were any other fans of this quirky sci-fi show here on the forum. I'm happy to see there are a few.

Most definitely! Great show and really creative story lines. Also, the acting is phenomenal. It seems like actors in British television have this subtlety about them, where a glance or gesture can convey a lot in any given scene. I noticed it a lot in Doctor Who (and other BBC dramas) which is something I don't see as much of in American television.

Raising my hand, though I'm only a new generation Whovian (love the 12th doctor!). Got to find those earlier episodes some day. I love the typically British/off the wall humor of the show. Even in dramatic situations, there's always time for some tongue in cheek jokes. And… the show's music is awesome :headbanger:
