Dr Lew Drake on X

Since there are quite a few people here on the forum who don't have an X account, here is a copy of the post:

Here’s how joint destruction occurs.

1) Eat a high carb diet for many years.

2) Blood glucose increases after every meal.

3) High levels of insulin are then released to force body cells to accept and turn the glucose into energy, or into stored fat. Insulin is very irritating to all tissue it contacts. Insulin is carried throughout the body in blood and in interstitial fluids outside of arteries and veins.

4) The interstitial fluid (containing insulin) coats the surface of arteries, muscles and joints and insulin gradually erodes them.

5) Irritated arteries cause heart disease.

6) Muscles become irritated. Where muscles slide over each other, they tend to adhere together and heal together. This causes “Frozen Shoulders.”

7) The smooth surfaces of joints become damaged, rough and deteriorated. This is called arthritis. Replacement is then offered as a lucrative solution.

8) However, instead of replacing joints one can simply eat a carnivore or ketogenic diet and in a few months the joints will self heal.

9) Amazingly, all the other damages to arteries, muscles bones will also heal. Learn more about Improving your Metabolic Health https://docs.google.com/document/d/1NwB-VXLcpgKkABwCXgLANyfMEOrrQO8fKJnusFQWCv0
It would be good if we all could remember that there are those who can't view posts on X.

I do realize that. I suppose I could’ve shared the one post as you have, but it was the other content that I wanted to bring attention to, because there’s a great deal of worthwhile stuff. If there’s a way to share the entirety of it, I’m all ears. The ironic thing is that I wanted nothing to do with X (or Twitter) until Laura, Joe and Niall started posting there. Now I’m in that in-between where some do and some don’t. Anyhoo, I’ll be more mindful in the future. 😊

I do have one question @Nienna . I see posts by the hundreds from X here, but they are visible. I know that when posting a YouTube link, you remove the stuff after the question mark, and it appears in the window as viewable media here on the forum. Is there a similar trick with X posts? Because when everyone else does it, it doesn’t appear as a link that requires an X account. If someone could clue me in on how to do that, I would be grateful.

FWIW, I don’t have an X account and I can view any link that I’m shared, and I can share them. I just can’t go browsing on my own terms or read comments.

For those still sitting on the "is it worth it having an X account?" fence, all I'd say is that, with discernment on who you choose to follow, you can find cutting edge reportage and commentary at the touch of a button. I follow about 700 notable figures on my account, featuring the likes of Joe, Niall and Laura. They share great newsworthy posts daily. I'll happily have a tab open throughout the evening just checking in on it periodically. If you trust your moral tastebuds there's plenty to discover on X for sure. I find it a valuable resource with daily usage. There's a good deal of solid posts from people like Randall Carlson, Richard Dolan, Caitlin Johnstone, Jesse Michels et al. For those undecided I'd say give it a try, you might be pleasantly surprised. I finally took the plunge and joined X in December 2023 and haven't gone day without it since. Customise your input and you can learn plenty.

It took me a long while to get them posted. But it was me not understanding how it works here. All you have to do is make sure you have clicked on the X post so that it is the first one at the top of the screen. Copy the url and when making a post here make sure you click on the media icon, paste the url in and click on continue.

What I was not understanding is that when I posted it, it would just be a small blurb and not the whole thing so I would delete it and give up trying to post X posts. Beau was gracious enough to tell me to just refresh the page and it would come up as it should. And it did. And, for some reason, I haven't had that problem since.

So Just copy/paste the url of the X post you want to share in the media thingy, hit "post" and you should be good.
