Earthquakes around the world

WORLDWIDE EARTHQUAKE REPORT AUGUST 21_2023

Moderate seismic activity was recorded in the past 24 hours with a 5.5 earthquake in Ecuador being the highest magnitude. This earthquake is possibly the result of the movement of energy southward after the M6.3 earthquake that occurred in Colombia.

2023-08-17-overview.png

After a 24-hour seismic silence of M5+ earthquakes, the energy finally burst in Argentina with a very deep 569 km earthquake. Given the depth of the earthquake, the towns or cities near the epicenter felt a very weak tremor even in El Hoyo (2,200 inhabitants), located 16 km from the epicenter,

The Argentina earthquake was preceded by an M5.3 earthquake in northern Chile in the Iquique region near the Peruvian border. Both earthquakes were intraplate (South American plate).

The question now is what follows after two lunar Geometries on August 23. Sometimes a deep earthquake is a precursor to a shallower earthquake of equal or greater magnitude. Let's wait and see.

Seismic activity remained at moderate levels during the past 24 hours. Northeast Asia recorded the highest magnitude quakes with 5.8 in the Japan region and 5.4 in the Mariana Islands. Turkey was shaken by a light M4.8 quake, possibly a further aftershock of the February quakes. On the other hand, in Uganda, a M4.6 earthquake was recorded very close to the East African Rift System.

Since the last 48 hours, the number of earthquakes has increased, surpassing 1000 events.

WORLDWIDE EARTHQUAKE REPORT AUGUST 26_2023

Low levels of seismic activity have been recorded in the last 48 hours. Is it the calm before the storm?
This morning, lunar right angles with Mars and Neptune converged, which can trigger large seismic activity (~M 8.5). The question is whether or not this will happen in the next few days. SSGEOS.
#Energy from critical #PlanetaryGeometry Earth: Moon-Mars came in to the western Pacific region about 11:30 UTC as forecast by @ssgeos . It went about its work triggering #earthquakes in that region. Energy should spread (and hopefully weaken) roughly as the Arrivals Tables.

● Earthquake Forecast

SSGEOS: Critical lunar geometry with Mars and Neptune can result in great seismic activity, potentially reaching magnitude 8.5 or larger in the next few days.

From August 17 to 26 we saw three M6+ earthquakes, the last of these occurred on August 23 in Argentina with a magnitude 6.2 while an M5.8 occurred in Honshu Japan and since then nothing significant has occurred and in fact in the period of analysis has not occurred, as expected, a great seismic activity that in the worst case would reach a M8+.

2023-08-17-overview.png
Since yesterday morning we entered a critical lunar geometry with Mars and Neptune and this type of event indicates a high probability of a mega earthquake within 2 or 3 days. It is worth remembering that it has been more than two years since the last magnitude 8 earthquake. SSGEOS has been warning about this since last November.

In the following days we will have right angle geometries involving Jupiter and Uranus.

The lunar geometry favors a major seismic event and there are indications of energy accumulation.. Atmospheric fluctuations indicate southern Africa, the Mediterranean in the region west of Italy, southern Iceland, northern New Zealand, the Vanuatu region and further north, northern Japan and the Kuril Islands.

The Arakan subduction zone, just north of the Andaman Islands, has not recorded a mega-earthquake in a long time. The last one occurred in 1762 with a magnitude 8.8. On the other hand, the lunar geometry involving Mars and Saturn is similar to that of 1957 when the M7.1 and M7.3 earthquakes occurred in Fethiye Turkey

Also, the 1957 Mexico earthquake known as the Angel Earthquake, was a 7.8 magnitude earthquake, although the USGS recorded it as a 7.9 magnitude earthquake.

High seismic activity occurred in the last 24 hours. The most significant event was an M5.9 earthquake at a depth of 214 km in southeastern Indonesia that had a preliminary magnitude of 6.4 (BMKG) This was the fifth major earthquake in the region, then the energy moved to the island of Guam which recorded an M5.2 earthquake at an intermediate depth of 146 km.

The fifth earthquake in Indonesia coincides with the planetary conjunction Venus, Mars, Uranus and several lunar geometries.
