really? well, shit in = shit out ? its called circular economy...Felt like a soft bounce here. But when this whole thing started the first one was the 7.0, three minutes later the 5.8 went off at the geysers south of me 3 minutes later, then it disappeared, I felt it. Government coverup, don’t want people to know that pumping sewer water into an active volcano is not the best idea. Haiku … (see image)

We haven't felt any of the aftershocks...yet.
I counted 71 aftershocks in my Quakefeed app.
California earthquake occurred along active fault, experts say. Aftershocks expected
The earthquake occurred along the Mendocino Fracture Zone, which is an active area that frequently experiences events of this magnitude.
“This is an area in Northern California that’s highly tectonically active,” Stephen DeLong, a Supervisory Research Geologist with the USGS, said during a press briefing. “It’s an area where they’re at least three different tectonic plates that move in different directions and at different speeds. And because of that, earthquakes occur frequently.”
There were not many atmospheric anomalies in the last two weeks, but of those the region near today's M 7.0 earthquake was marked 15 days earlier, on 20 November. Too long in my opinion and hardly actionable, but still.
The situation with Earth between Venus and Mars remains critical and the number of M 7+ earthquakes is still well below average. We're almost 2 years without a M 7.8+ and 3.5 years without M 8+. So we know some regions on the planet are probably near the tipping point of a big one. Please keep this in mind.
I'm reminded of the two earthquakes that occurred exactly one year apart at the Mendocino Triple Junction in northern California: first the December 20, 2021 6.2 earthquake, then the December 20, 2022 6.4 earthquake. The earthquake occurred in the Mendocino Triple Junction.
More California seismic activity after 1st of year: San Diego, San Bernardino, North Bakersfield, Barstow: all are fracture points. Hollister, Palo Alto, Imperial, Ukiah, Eureka, Point Mendocino, Monterrey, Offshore San Luis Obispo, Capistrano, Carmel: these are all stress points of fracture in sequence. "Time" is indefinite. Expect gradual destruction of California economy as people begin mass exodus. Also, Shasta erupts; Lassen activity. Ocean floor begins to subside.

Here in Oregon I received the tsunami warning emergency alert on my phone. I was at work at the time, so every phone in the room went off. Not that long before this the fire alarm went off as we we had a fire drill. Made for a noisy morning.
