I wish there was something FOTCM could do for the homeless in a more concrete way. Well, maybe once we get more organized, more members, and some things settled and stabilized, we can do something...
Her job description is to help people in distress, she is attendant on the phone (911 calls), "she heard a" call for the assistant- to survive

I believe that this is a possible example of where we can serve, the opening of a telephone hotline for people who really need help, food, medicine ...
What do you think?

A hotline has to have resources, like staff and things to respond with in cases of emergencies. We don't have that as yet. For now, we just try to respond to emergencies of members of FOTCM.

Clarence Blackmon, 81, received tons of donations after calling 911 for food after cancer treatments. He's giving them to charity to feed other hungry people.

His heart is more full than his stomach and kitchen cabinets.

An 81-year-old North Carolina man with cancer has received such an overwhelming amount of donations after his desperate 911 call for food went viral that he is redirecting the meals to charity.

"They keep bringing it in by the armloads," Clarence Blackmon told ABC News. "My cupboards are full. I've never had such prosperity."

The elderly Fayetteville man, who lives alone, phoned police Tuesday when he returned home after spending months in the hospital for cancer treatment, and realized he had nothing to eat.
