Electrical Equipment Doesn't Stand a Chance

Siince so many people are having plumbing problems and weird weather, I figured I'd try for a hat trick. Ive had a negative effect on electronic equipment for my whole life. Lightbulb scare the most obvious. No matter where Ive lived, old or new wiring, light bulbs burn out in a month or two. Even the new eco long lasting expensive ones. It's always more than one when it happens. Usually 2 or 3. Every time I'm driving at night, at least one street light goes out when I drive under it.

I have technical problems with every DVD player we've had. I get an error message That the disc can't be read and it will last for a week or two then go back to normal. Or the machine just won't work.

We all get booted off of our wifi and Internet on our devices about every 2 weeks.

My credit and debit cards demagnetize. One year, my ATM CARD demagnetized 4 times. Even kept in the little card envelope.

The biggest thing that has been happening is that there is an unfixable problem with the computer in my car. The power in my drivers side door constantly goes out. I get it rebooted. And first it's the auto locks, then it's the light inside the car, then my key doesn't work... All the way to not being able to open the gas tank. I've had so much work done that was unnecessary bc the mechanic will think it's the battery, then the alternator, then the starter and each time it works for maybe a month then can't be started again. Now I just take itinerant when things start acting weird and he reboots the computer. He says I just probably have a bad computer or ECU. And I'd buy it if all the other things didn't happen.

I wondered if other people find that they seem to.... I don't know.... Disrupt electrical flow? I even had an electrical problem in my heart. Supra ventricular tachycardia. An extra electrical connection where a heartbeat would get stuck in a loop and keep coming back in the the extra connection! All my life, doctors told me it was anxiety. Then finally I had a doctor give me a heart monitor that I wore for an entire month. And they got an event in live time. My heart beat was over 250 beats per minute. My heart continued to beat normally but one beat was stuck in my a/v node and couldn't get out. The attacks would last about. 20 minutes. I had a catheter RF ablation to destroy the extra connection and it was cured.

I wondered if any one else experienced this weird electrical thing!! .?

I can't say I have experienced any of that.

Every now and again I might turn on a switch then it blows but that is about it for me.

_http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pauli_effect

The Pauli effect is a term referring to the apparently mysterious, anecdotal failure of technical equipment in the presence of Austrian theoretical physicist Wolfgang Pauli. The term was coined using his name after numerous instances in which demonstrations involving equipment suffered technical problems only when he was present.

The Pauli effect is not to be related with the Pauli exclusion principle, which is a bona fide physical phenomenon named after Pauli. However the Pauli effect was humorously tagged as a second Pauli exclusion principle, according that a functioning device and Wolfgang Pauli may not occupy the same room.[1] Pauli himself was convinced that the effect named after him was real.[1] Pauli corresponded with Hans Bender and Carl Jung[1] and saw the effect as an example of the concept of synchronicity.

:) I love this Luke!! I'm ignoring the Implication that it's made up! Hahaha! I have the Pauli effect! Woot!!

Not as frequently or strong as yours appears, but yes. Often the streetlight thing, bulbs don't last too long, and I am hell on microwave ovens. My major appliances do seem to need replacing more often than manufacturer's suggested lifespan.

Just produced some nice blue lightening in my microwave oven last week--unplugged it and threw it in the trash! :scared:
I also have a dampening affect on radios--when I get within 2/3 feet the signal strength seems to lessen and the volume goes down and the static up. Just all part of the weird variety of ways organic life interfaces with 3D earth I guess.

Interesting Shelly. Thank you for sharing with me!xit seems like a signature vibrational thing! I'm going to try 3D's suggestions and I'll keep you posted!! :)

I've got the opposite, faulty stuff starts working as soon as i look at it. Or the car waits with breaking down until i can see home..
Things will get worse, electrically, for real copper gets too expensive and alu is used instead.
Lightbubs die because of spikes in the power supply, LEDs more of overheating. Most of the rest is bad connections. Do clean connection surfaces when reachable and put something greasy on it to keep O2 off them. Don't coil cables or pull on them. Cars i like without electronics, but every-one-so-often i need to stick my screwdriver in for a second to keep them running nicely. Maybe there is some good/bad faith involved, and so, never curse at your car/bike/appliance!

Hi All
"Electrical Equipment Doesn't Stand a Chance" - well , it is an pleasure to fry their tools anyway
SLI effect - Street Light Interference as they call it on the net probably relates to rest of electronic stuff malfunction in our presence too.
I do live with it since can remember and at least one of my friends did notice its existence too, I even tried to make some basic analysis comparing my thoughts and emotions in the moment - it doesn't seem to be emotion related but thought rather, it is work in progress, im trying to compare my thought patterns at the time in order to find common theme, but intermittent nature of the phenomenon makes it rather slow project.
Constant bulb failures it is to be studied yet. i would place them on the same list if not that they started to brake strangely in tandem with eu law banning incandescent bulbs, so i tend to believe is rather planned obsolescence at its worst - they seldom last more than a month or two on the other hand we do evolve too, could our energies become stronger than some time ago? - why not
And rest of electric stuff? Why only electric, no doubt that matter is sentient and alive, may it be your door handle or rubbish bin, they are alive and leaving door to interaction open.
Dietary factor may be the case but for me drastic diet changes did not affect situation much. it is rather the physical locator that plays
It was my little input, waiting for yours

Re: Electrical Equipment Doesn't Stand a Chann

Wow!! Actually it is little things too. I thought that may sound too crazy. Things I buy brand new never work right. I shouldn't say "never".... A lens pops out of my $200 Ray Bans. I lose the stone of my engagement ring because it somehow gets lose after 10 years. When I use a card reader it almost never dr reads my card on the first try and my first thought is "oh no, it's deactivated" but then it works when the cashier swipes it. Plumbing breaks, pipes leak, shelves fall.... The saying "if it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all" comes to mind. But isn't completely true. It's just objects I come into contact with. I ordered a new grill from Amazon and a whole packet of screws was missing. Settings on my devices..... Forget it!! It's like annoying little elves come in and mess with my things. The alarms on my phone didn't go off one morning last week and I brought my daughter to school late on the day of the state testing. Luckily they had a late start or she would have had to sit in the office for 2 hours and attend a make up session. Oh I just paid for ours ISP tech to come to the house and tell me that our telephone was not hooked up correctly in the first place. The kicker ? The phone line and number belonged to my in-laws for 62 years. We live in the house my husband grew up in. He inherited it a year and a half ago!!

We took care of my MIL and this house for the last 10 years as she was able to do less and less and the problems we have did not exist until we moved in after her death!!

I do feel that there was a negativity in the house. In the basement, in a cubby. It seemed like negative thoughts had gathered there. A tremendous amount of verbal fighting went on here in the past. I did not connect these events to the events with electricity.

in interconnected multidimensional universe there is an reason to why any-and-all happens
there are multitude of forces influencing this place, us and others through us so not everything "comes from the basement"
however some cleaning there may be good too

I have been "cleaning the basement". And Your answer resonates so nicely. I swear, I've even blamed some things on being left handed- using the wrong hand to operate an object! Some thing I see are stop signs. But maybe some thing happen to reinforce the awareness of the bigger picture! :)

Hi Jodi,

You might search the forum for other threads where this topic has been discussed (you can use 'streetlights' as a search term to get started). Several other members have mentioned experiences like this, such as alarm clock malfunctions and cards demagnetizing prematurely. Here are a couple of the main ones:

I think that these effects can manifest along a continuum in the human population -- maybe it has to do with 'faulty insulation'? I've noticed that people on my dad's side of the family tend to experience some of these mishaps, and that they also have an inherited tendency toward fibromyalgia and related autoimmune/energy deficit disorders. I was surprised to read this a few months ago in Fibromyalgia & Chronic Myofascial Pain: A Survival Manual (p. 77-78) by Devin Starlanyl and Mary Ellen Copeland, as I didn't expect the connection:

Fibromyalgia & Chronic Myofascial Pain: Signs and Symptoms said:
Do you have electromagnetic sensitivity? Do you become wired by electrical storms? That is, do you become edgy, tense, unable to sleep? Are you up all night when the moon is full? Can you sometimes sense the feelings of others? This is what I call electromagnetic (EM) sensitivity. Some people with FMS may be hypersensitive to EM transmissions, especially when they are in flare.

Some people with FMS have told me that their presence stops watches and computers. They say that phones and VCRs are also affected. Usually, they have been afraid to mention this to their doctors. They may not have connected this effect either with FMS or CMP. One doctor called me from New York to talk about this. One of his patients could walk under streetlights and turn them off. He had observed this personally.

It seems likely that many people with FMS and CMP may be electromagnetically sensitive due to a combination of enhanced autonomic nervous system activity, central nervous system sensitization, and souped-up receptors. Remember, FMS amplifies sensations. The skin over TrPs is high in electrical conductance – it is measurably abnormal. It has also been documented that EM fields can affect heart rate. We need more research on this.

Hello Jodi, and welcome to the Forum.
This is an intriguing topic, and one that has affected myself.

I've had the usual blown lamps, especially when turning them on, and the odd gadget (DVD player) that refused to work.
The most interesting one was a neon/mercury street lamp on a roundabout I would walk past every evening on returning from work.
Damned if it wouldn't turn off, just as I walked beneath it. Not every time, but often enough for me to notice the effect.

I used to work in the electronics repair trade, and there was a time when I could not get something to work, even though all the parameters said that it should work. I called my boss over to show him, and the thing began to work the moment he set eyes on it! Weird!

When I was in manufacturing I experienced this as well, except it was mechanical in nature. Before I was frustrated to the point of taking a hammer to it  , I would take a

walk to the far end of the shop to regroup, come back with another set of eyes, and lo and behold all was fine with the beast. Maybe electrical manifestations on a molecular

level?!! :headbash:

Things happen, but if you take a careful look at why, sometimes from perspective of time, you will be able to notice the reasons
Your cart demagnetized - didnt you try to by something you didnt need or was given to you later?
Your pc crashed in the middle of mail writing - but soon circumstance changed and it wasnt necessary to write it at all
You have lost you train - but you have met new people (or avoided to meet someone)
and so on
