Pretty crazy, the elephants really seemed to have it in for that poor security guard.

They do. Mahuts, the men who work with elephants, have short life spans, as many are killed by their charges.

Elephants in the wild will also trample people to death when they feel their babies are threatened, or they get mad at being denied access to food. Like us, they need the guidance of good parents.

When they are denied the care of other adults and healthy socialization, elephants can be very very dangerous.

And no, I don't blame them a bit.

Maybe more will turn their back on the people using them. Kind of like how the lions suddenly started attacking villages.
