End of journey, new beginning?

Thanks for all responses, I've read them carefully.

I just realised u said u have watched YT.
How about joining the reading group and/or EE group?

I have watched all Cassiopaea.org videos. Just added Mind Matters to my subscription on YT and on occasion I might listen to it. Diet isn't something I feel tempted studying outright just now. Breathing exercises isn't something I want to pursue. I mean no disrespect, but I don't want to join the groups, that is just me, not because of anyone else, I simply don't feel like it.

R-ME, how much of the C's Transcripts have you read?

I wasn't well versed in English when I first found the Transcripts. Read as much as I could in that regard. Over the years I've read some here and there. Also, I read the new sessions as they get published - atleast for the last 2 years.

Recently, on my vacation, I read nearly all of the session from 1994, and I realized I missed some things completely. I had totally overlooked the part of that humans are used as containers and 94 % will be used as parts for a new race by the consortium.

I only got the push to read, because I had deep thoughts the government possibly "missing" people/using them as science experiments. It might sound weird but I couldn't get the thoughts out off my head. Ironically the answer, I found, was in the first session.

Some diet issues can hurt in such a way it affects all other aspects of life including proper thinking. Example: Gluten. If you are not on a gluten-free diet, that may explain your autism and not able to use your brain for some activities. Something to experiment and see how it works. Some times, we have to start somewhere as somebody said "Action, Motivation, and Inspiration" in the order.

There's nothing weird about that! When we find something that is troubling, it usually stays with us until we can find answers. So good for you to see what is going on and act on it with finding the information you were looking for. :thup:

Because you have been able to read the sessions, I am wondering if you've had a chance to try to read the Wave Series written by Laura and her telling of what was going on during the time of the sessions. Quite a bit of info there and things to learn. And the further you get in the series, the more interesting things become. Now, since you can't read for very long without wanting to quit, I was thinking that if you find these books interesting (and the get more interesting the further you read) you could just read a page or two at one sitting. Then, if you feel you can read more at a later time, you could read another page or two.

This is just a suggestion. I have no expectations of you deciding to do this or not. I just wanted to throw it out there. Oh, if you are interested in reading these books, you can so for free here.

Whatever you decide to do, I wish you the best in your endeavors. :-)

If I am to read something it better be straight to the point and short and clear. It really is that bad. And I want to clear my mind before I proceed with anything else.
I appreciate your honesty about finding reading tedious. People learn in different ways. As Michael B-C mentioned, as this is a research forum, reading comes with the territory. One option is listening to audiobooks in your language. You can download them and listen while doing other activities. Another option is to look for a summary of a book- a synopsis of the main points the author is trying to get across. For example, below is an article on SoTT, which gives a summary of Kahneman’s Thinking Fast and Slow (one of the recommended books). Even if you don’t want to read the full article, important points are in bold.

I wouldn't consider myself a bookworm, and I read quite slowly. But I also will convert into mp3's some larger articles or forum posts. For me, the forum is a place where I like to check in often so I don't miss out on anything (ideally, to the best of my ability).

I agree that some things aren't really practical, particularly global affairs. It's just something that I note and cannot really do much in my life about, save for posting about it.

But beyond that, the cosmic and spiritual topics are things that I think will change either consciously or unconsciously my behaviors. They help with forming a holistic framework of things, and add to your value system.

Hi R-ME

The various books recommended by people on the forum came from those people pursuing what was meaningful and important to them and then sharing what they had found because they thought it might be useful for the other members here.

Your interests don’t sound negative or harmful. In fact, some of the subjects you have said you’re interested in might be of interest to others on the forum, too, and with that in mind, rather than viewing the forum as a strict teacher who says ‘you must dedicate all of your spare time to reading this and doing this, otherwise you shouldn't be here’ you could view it as a place to share your own discoveries and the skills you might acquire by following your own interests.

In this way, you would be bringing your unique experiences to the group, if you wanted to share them, and that could be very useful and constructive for others here who might not have otherwise been exposed to them.

The knowledge presented in the various suggested/recommended books should be viewed as tools we can use to solve practical problems that we face as human beings. As such, they sometimes only become relevant to us when those kinds of problems manifest in our personal lives. As you have discovered yourself, once a burning question arose within you, you were able to read the relevant texts to try to find the answer.

Some people might be driven to get all the tools in advance so they’re ‘ready for anything’. But your life experience will always give you the right lessons at the right time. I’m sure if there’s ever something that you can’t solve yourself, the group will be here to help if they can, otherwise, you could be of help to the group by sharing your own knowledge and experiences, or even just giving your own thoughts when other people have issues that they want to get feedback about.

Thanks for the feedback and advice's everyone.

@Nienna
I had the Wave Series in paperback form at some point long ago and at later dates read some of the wave online also. I would say those attempts haven't been very successful, not really reading in a keen way and remembering it. But I am sure I got things out of it here and there.

Hi R-ME, one of the aims of EE meditation is to regulate the vagus nerve for stress relief, however if you're not into mediation there are some exercises that you can try out from a book that Approaching Infinity posted about called Accessing the Healing Power of the Vagus Nerve by Stanley Rosenburg. In this post in that thread, there is a video of the exercises. They are easy exercises and only take a few minutes. So while it's not necessary to read the book to try the exercises to see if they are helpful, perhaps the book will be more to your liking because it is about how and why to do something that is of practical day to day use if the exercises help you.

Apart from that, all any of us can do is to take one step at a time and sometimes when taking the small steps becomes habitual, looking back can be surprising when we realise how far we've come. So take it easy on yourself :-)

AND...

You are here already!

You have chosen the Matrix pickup.

There is no rush or path.

There is your "rhythm" and your "way".

And it's "perfect", because it's yours.

I came here a few years ago and the "old people" have been around for over 25 years ("many more"), so I understand you quite well.:hug:

Yes, you most likely did. But, you're not the only one who doesn't remember things from those books. When I was reading the series for the second time, I kept saying, "I don't remember that....or that.....wow, look at that!" :lol: And, I don't remember things until someone else brings them up and then I do remember it. So don't be too hard on yourself. I just think it's great that you did read some of it.

@R-ME, hello
If I understood correctly, you deplore not doing (anything?: reading, studying, etc.) the way you think "you should do them" or maybe "others do".
If I understood correctly again, you could improvise and feel concretely, practically, what inspires you and where it leads you, and just go like that: but that's what you're already doing, and that's why you put down this thread title.
At this time, we have to navigate carefully, without believing everything that happens, and make our own way - with instinct in addition to knowledge. Everyone can bring their own spark as well...
Thank you for sharing this new and personal path with us... Enjoy the ride:-)

@R-ME, hello

One important thing implied in your post is that each of us “learn” differently. While I don’t have time (or patience) to watch a 30 minute video that someone sends me, I prefer to read as, personally, I think I can read faster than the info can be conveyed in a video, or even an audiobook.

As has been mentioned, your way is different than “my” way which is different than many others and that’s ok.
