aaron r said:Do I feel conflict in this? Short answer, no. Why? Two reasons. First is I "work" on myself not others. Second is that the mainstream system is what the patient has chosen. I support Sott to crusade against the system and they do a fine job. Saying that does not mean I won't give information to someone sincerely asking.
These are really good points, osit. It simply comes down to external consideration.
T.C., that customer didn't ask for your viewpoint.
T.C. said:Because right now… THERE’S NO GOD DAMN WAY I’M GONNA STAND THERE AND KEEP MY MOUTH SHUT WHEN SOMEONE’S BEING POISONED AND I CAN HELP THEM DETOX!
Let me translate this: you are basically saying that you won't accept the free will of another, and that you will impose your will on others. Because "there's no goddamn way" that you're gonna "keep [your] mouth shut"? If this is truly so, then really, it's better for you to look for another job.
I think if a person is truly interested in alternative healing, then this person will research on his/her own, will maybe even see a naturopath. But you're working in a pharmacy. Most people come there, because they're rolling along the lines of the conventional medical system. I can really understand your frustration. But if you want to spread the word of the true ways of healing oneself, then this pharmacy is the worst choice you can make for that. I think Anart's suggestion about finding a job in a holistic or health food store/pharmacy is a much better way, and also Laura's suggestion of running an ad in a newspaper and linking to EE.
