A Disturbance in the Force
This morning, there was a Reuters report that some 42 light-years away towards the southern Doradus and Pictor constellations, Geneva Observatory finds 3 super earth-like planets. http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080616/sc_nm/space_planets_dc
I would have thought NASA would have picked up on this finding and at least confirmed or denied. Their
Planet Quest still reports 0 earth-like planets. http://planetquest.jpl.nasa.gov/atlas/atlas_index.cfm
This is pretty big news considering we have never seen another earth-like planet.
