Facebook impersonation problem

Hi, I usually read SOTT through my iPhone with an RSS reader. The past few days this has stopped working, and it complains about a security issue with Facebook and https. I'm guessing that it's because of the following line in the new SOTT page:
<iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/likebox.php?id=458298565312&amp;width=182&amp;connections=9&amp;stream=false&amp;header=false&amp;height=367" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" style="border:none; overflow:hidden; width:182px; height:367px;"></iframe>

Would it be possible to change the URL above to http:// instead? Then I think it would work again to read SOTT through security-conscious browsers.

Interestingly enough, someone recently posted the inverse, about Facebook not having HTTPs in the right places.

Anyway, I'll say something to Mr. Scott about adding a non-https link.

That Facebook iframe has to be HTTPS, or else the SSL pages will report that they are "insecure".

Although, now that I think about it, it could actually detect the protocol being used and change the URL on the fly... oh wait, no it can't. Caching makes that impossible.

In short, either SSL looks "broken" even though it's not, or iPhones don't work properly.

Unless I come up with a bright idea, but at the moment I'm fresh out...

Added: The RSS feed itself should work fine, since it doesn't load the main page template, and thus doesn't have the Facebook link. However, I assume you mean that you read the RSS feed and then click the links to view an article...

Would it be possible to use JavaScript to modify it on-the-fly?
Another option (I guess) could be to have the RSS point to https:// links for SOTT, so that it's not mixed. That'll increase the CPU usage though.
A third option is to have the RSS feed include the full article so I don't have to click-to-read. Or, have one feed with snippets, and one with full articles, so that users can pick the one they like the most. :D That would be awesomest from a user point-of-view!
