When sharing Sott items on my wall.

I haven't gotten that one yet, is this linked to the little lock with a slash through it that shows up in the lower right corner? Or is this a new pop up window?

When I click the Share button underneath the Sott article, the warning, in red, is at the top of Facebook share this link window.

Now I'm wondering if this window belongs to Firefox or Facebook.

Anyone here know which?

Well, I use Firefox and Facebook and I do not get that message.

You may need to provide a screenshot of the message so we can see where it possibly is coming from.

I'm at work now where Facebook is blocked and the browser is IE. I'll try tonight or tomorrow morning.

Now I'm unable post a screen shot!

I thought that maybe the Prt Scr button was disfunctional so I tried the snipping tool and was still unsuccessful in pasting it in the reply.

Found a way to do it:

:) I recommend to install Add-on (ADP) AdBlock Plus for Firefox

_http://adblockplus.org/en/firefox

It block things like this automatically. Works for me very fine for about 8 months now.

It may be related to a problem earlier in the day, when accessing a news item on SotT - 'Israel Remaining Calm Ahead of Nakba Day Protests' - I got a virus warning that would not allow access to the item. This then applied to any other news item. After shutting down the window it cleared - although still got the warning for the Isreal news item, it now showed it in full.

Edit: spelling

To me it looks like the warning is from an anti-virus software you may be using.

I'm pretty sure it's a Firefox-issued warning. If it was from anti-virus, the warning wouldn't be contained within the browser. I don't know how they decide one site is dangerous. I've had that warning before when visiting perfectly safe websites as well. I do my best to ignore them and use my common sense to decide if a website is dangerous or not.

I think it looks like a virus program. Facebook has been having a TON of viruses going around lately. Seems TPTB don't like people spreading what is really going on in the world.
