Feeling off?

That would be a little difficult indeed, I am not in charge of what we eat in home, I just can avoid some foods, but can't change my diet completely. My family aren't in any way interested in the diet.

If you have been following the Diet and Health threads, you should already know that dairy and gluten are two of the worst things to put into your body. And it takes 6 months for these things to clear from your body so it could take that long to see any results.

Is there no way to cook your own meals? Do you have a job which would allow you to have money you so you can buy your own food and cook it?

What we are talking about with the diet is really very important for everyone. Dairy and gluten are both addictive so we are likely to find a lot of reasons why we cannot stop eating them.

It's all up to you, but if you want to act for your destiny, eating properly is one of the ways to do this.

I have cut down my intake considerably, but still need to eat a little just to get the nourishment i need. This is due to where i am situated. Does it even matter? Do i need to be completely off of it to notice the effects? Sorry if this should have been in another thread.

Yeah, I've been totally feeling off, especially this weekend. Mostly violent angry thoughts, irritability, and sadness. It's like my predator is right there waiting for me to cut my last safety string and then take me over.

I had a stomach bug last week too, but I think it was from letting some meat unthaw too long.

Also some issues with not having enough time due to my new job. And this makes me even more irritable. I was thinking of putting this in the swamp, but I saw this post here.

I'm aware it's up to me. I haven't follow the food completely and I don't think I am excusing, the situation I described of course doesn't mean that because they buy bread I'll eat bread, if they invite me junk food I have to accept it or whatever situation you may imagine, but sometimes the only thing to able to eat doesn't seem to match the diet completely.

I don't have a job so I have not my own money, I'll live with my mother until I finish the university.

I know what you mean, I was in the same situation but I refused to eat gluten and diary so I came under attacks from them, but with time they ceased but sometimes that can still happen. I know there's people that can't afford it and that's what my parents say to me, that I would eat it if I was in that situation and I say luckily I'm not. I eat more read meat(I can't be without meat), eggs, pig lard, try to eat less carbs(only eating potato and rice, and I know rice isn't good but can't avoid everything), fruits and veggies - mostly tomato, onion and green salad.

I don't have a job so I have not my own money, I'll live with my mother until I finish the university.

By then, it can be to late not mentioning it's hard to find a job today, but I know it can seem to them a bit rude picking your food because they work hard to afford it.

:) Happy to see you different than before danny.

Indeed, Jesus said that our worst enemies are those from our home. Here with my father I have not so much freedom, I'll see what happen with my mother.

Did you eat out like in a restaurant or something? Fwiw, I wouldn't trust anybody to answer such a question correctly, because the majority just don't know about these things and thus have no reason to check properly. So it's best to not eat anything of which you're not sure of, especialy if it's some sort of sauce, as these generally include some evil stuff.

No, it was stuffed cabbage made by the old lady I live with. She likes to cook and all the time offers me some. Most of the time I decline, also because she cooks with gluten and dairy. But sometimes, like festive occasions, she wanted me to join them and made something that is mostly ok. It still contained inflammatory things like peppers and nightshades (and sauces) , but I just dealt with it because it was for others as well and didn't want to put special demands. Otherwise wouldn't be able to eat anything she does, and thought at the time that it was appropriate.

I see. At least now you know not to eat the food she's cooking. I know it can be really uncomfortable to 'stand out' like this in social situations, but that's how it is - that's why having a 'food allergy' comes in really handy.

As for feeling off, with me it's as if the 'dark' side is more pronounced, there's more negativity and a tendency not to care well for myself in regards to sleep for example, or increasing carbs again.

Yes, I've been sensing this one, too.

Whatever it is, I am feeling slightly better. Still my sleep has been a little off, but I think I am feeling a little better. I have had exams at school so this was extra stress, but the worst thing was that I just found out my grandma has late stage lung cancer . We found this out a few days ago after a completely unrelated hospital visit. Maybe some of my feeling was premonition, who knows, though it is interesting others have felt off, and I didn't connect the recent transcript with my feelings either, thanks for pointing this out, maybe it was a factor too. At least with my gma she still has some pep (she tried to escape from the hospital actually, she wasn't quite back to normal and didn't know why she was there) which I suppose is better than being totally lethargic. I am hoping that in a few days when she is home from the rehabilitation place she will feel better. They aren't going to do chemo at least, thank god. I am giving my mom recommendations for her (which they are very open to now) and hopefully we can make the rest of her stay on this planet (could be a few months, could be a few years) as comfortable as possible.

Sorry to hear about your grandma D Rusak. Mine just had heart surgery and has recovered well. But my grandpa has a lung tumor and we don't know if it's cancer or anything yet. Take care. :flowers:

Hmm interesting. For past 2 days I have very similar effects :/
Everything is fine , I would even say that it is very good , yet still I am kinda 'winded up'.
