This is so touching and impressive - the Karama Gaza film festival yesterday evening took place among the ruins of the Shejaiya neighborhood.
Here is the video, so touching - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c43d5CB3rt8
"Karama-Gaza Human Rights Film Festival (Red Carpet) is a festival for short and long narrative and documentary films in Gaza Strip on 12-14 May. It is the first festival that highlights human rights issues, mainly in Palestine and generally all over the world.
Holding the festival in the Gaza Strip, which lives under siege and destruction for so many years, will show the other cultural and humanitarian face of Gaza, and creates a state of communication with the world through the window of cinema."
Video and photographs are so powerful. This is the real picture of the world we live in tooday, we don't need special effects and big blockbusters to show the movies full of ruins and explosiosn and killing that will make tons of money for the big movie starts to show up on a red carpet at Cannes ... those in power alredy did that in real world ... :(
My heart goes to all Palestinian people who didn't give up!
