The Force is Strong With This One
Hi,

Recently, The New York Times (NYT) and the Financial Times(FT) have extended in a significative manner the material available online freely. The FT is widely acknowledged as the representative of the Big Finance that seems to rule the world.

Why is it today that they extend this material availble freely? Well there is a financial crisis going on. It seems very serious because very large banks (UBS, Morgan Stanley) and middle ones (Northernrock) are deeply affected by it.
And one can read that there is a systemic crisis going on threatening the global financial system and therefore the real economy and every day life of billions.

So those financial powers will need to shout more loudly in order to be heard and try to keep the illusion that everything is OK on a global scale.

Here is a link to an interview of Ian Davis (manager of Mc Kinsey) by FT journalist that is very significative.
Mc Kinsey is a feared consultant company that has shaped the life of many: they arrive in a company, make some "rough calculation" and decide whether or not to close or relocate an activity.

In this interview Ian Davis fears that with the possible recession citizens and politics may turn against globalisation.
