Firms from the country I live in (The Netherlands) were mentioned nine times for a sum total of over $ 750,000.-- with Republicans receiving clearly much more than Democrats.

I just wonder whether this donation system buys any real influence, though.

It's purpose seems mainly to add some more obscurantism...
