Fox News Obama Attack Ads

The following clip is a comparison of the methods that were used to attack Kerry in 2004 and those that are being used to attack Obama in 2008.

Since the attacks use the same tactics as those employed in the 2004 elections, (the only change being the name of the candidates), my only conclusion is that the logic behind them is "If they worked the first time, they will work forever."

In watching these ads, one really gets a sense of what it must be like to be whirling through eternity while trapped in a time loop hearing the words "elitist", "extremist" "arrogant" flipflopping" "radical" "wimp" "snooty" over and over again with no recall whatsoever.

Personally, the similarity of these ads has motivated me to intensify my efforts to work on myself and graduate to 4th density if, for no other reason, to escape another American presidential election. (Although, since this is such bald STS self interest, my hopes of moving on up to the next level and out of the loop are probably doomed.)

I guess it's nice that there's Sarah Palin off to the side to add a little seasoning to the same old recipe. I don't remember a candidate whose accomplishments included being able to skin a moose in the field before. And if I do end up on third density earth again in a possible rerun, skinning a moose in the field may possibly be the one skill I'll need so I'll pay attention this time around.
