This is our friends dog Gemma who sadly was put to sleep today. She spent so much time with our girls when they were younger. Theirs only Star still with us at 16.
Gillian is her owner and she will so terribly upset. She loves the dogs more than people.
Any prayers anyone could spare for the smooth passing of Gem.
Id imagine it will be very hard for Gem to leave Gillian and Tom. Such a shock even though I don't see her much now.
We did go for cake on Stars 16th birthday. StR was the leader of their pack.

Prayers sent ! Having said goodbye when ending their lives, I know what that is like.... tears at the old memory. Heart-felt condolences for your family, especially Gillian. Compared to the years of companionship, it's over quickly, but such a painful punctuation to lives together.

An animal communicator friend told me the animals don't see death as such a stop point. This seems right to me, as I feel their presence and I recall others here have also said there seems to be continuing connection. Not much help to Gillian right now, though!
