Came across these series of audio excerpts from a lecture by Pema Chodron, who is a Buddhist nun and a disciple of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche until his death. The series cover's a discussion on the Ego, the part that dilutes our perspective of the present, addictions through a constant scratching of the 'itch' that we run away from, how insecurities prevent us from experiencing awareness, etc.
It's an interesting take on the Work, from a slightly different perspective, with a focus on meditation, but still contains a lot of similarities to what we experience with the Predator's mind, programs, etc.
Part 1: Stop Scratching
Part 2: Ego - The Root of the Problem
Part 3: The Door to Liberation
Part 4: Recognizing Patterns of Habituation
Part 5: How We Get Hooked
Part 6: Fundamental Uneasiness
Part 7: Degrees of Shenpa
Part 8: Seeing Clearly
Part 9: Melting into Emptiness
