As we all know, global warming is loosing speed as the awareness or just plain observation obviously show the opposite. It seem that the power that be won't give up so easily and are now targeting the next generation in a global mind programing movie and game for the kids.

The question I ask myself is, why do they target the youth now?
Reading this brought the image of the Denver airport back to my memory. I don't know for you, but for me they want this disinformation imprinted now so as to be use in a near future. Kids lack knowledge, have a subjective view and as they say it, are most passionate.

An animated film produced in Costa Rica, called “Odyssey 2050″ is sponsored by the British Embassy in this country to lead an international campaign to collect the ideas of young people around the world on climate change impacts and how to mitigate them. The British ambassador in Costa Rica, Tom Kennedy, presented today at the international conference “TEDx Pura Vida” the animated short, which is headlined by the crew of a spaceship in 2050 to assess what happened on Earth since the twentieth century and why life on the planet is about to disappear.
Kennedy told Efe that several years ago the British government instructed its embassies to push for environmental projects in each country, and in the case of Costa Rica was chosen by the capacity that can have global impact.
The film which shows the former Costa Rican astronaut Franklin Chang, is an overview of the causes of global warming and launched a strong criticism of the indifference that for years was the international community to warnings given by scientists in climate change.
The short, Kennedy said, has been translated into 12 languages and distributed in countries like New Zealand, Poland, Sweden, Mexico, Korea and Central America also presented at the last climate summit in Cancun. The aim is that young people see the movie, enter a website where they can express what they believe are the main causes and challenges regarding this issue, and that these comments will serve to build the script for a second film.
“Scientists say if emissions continue at current rates of warming impact by 2050 will be very strong, and that by the end of the century the world will be almost uninhabitable,” he said.
“So, so original, fun and interactive, we encourage young people, give them a voice because they are also the most passionate about nature protection,” said Kennedy.
