Hi Axel and Vulcan59,

I am stumped as well. There doesn't seem to be any evidence of any code tampering.
At this point I am suspecting an issue with the database itself.

The glossary is working again.
For those reading this thread who have never used it go to http://glossary.cassiopaea.com/glossary.php and enter a search term or click the random button.

I tried accessing the glossary page today and got the following error:

I got the same message as hoangmphung for the glossary. Couldn't access the search page either.

We've had this issue before. The evidence that I have is pointing at a file path issue on the server.
It is being looked into.

The glossary is still down, and its a pitty cos its very helpfull especialy when you want to expleain certain things to someone who is just starting with the work

I am not nagging , I know that SOTT team has way too many things on their plate just wanted to say I miss glossary :(

There were issues with the server hosting the glossary and the website was being moved to a different machine. I will inquire on the status of that move.

You can still use the glossary via Google for the time being. Just type "cassiopaea glossary [search term]" and click "Cached" in the result.

I've tried that Craig, but the problem is that the links on the cached page do not lead to a cached link. For example, if you go to the letter B, it will not load because it's the original link, not the cached link.
