I was looking at gmaps today to see where exactly is a border of Turkey and it kind struck me that countries while on 'MapView' differ a lot.
I am wondering why they left cities and remover rest of details. For war purposes maybe ?
Take a look by yourself on gmaps .Iraq and Afghanistan as well Libya has roads removed , green areas and other details too.
